I was brought back to the surface, and then let go. The underwater beast was big enough to grab me again, and set me on shore.

Unexpectedly, the beast glowed blue for a second, and then started to change shape. The beast transforming at first was of an oval shape...and became to take the shape of a...human?

Kay swam to meet me at the shores. "What a ride was that." She wiped her hair out of her eyes, and sat next to me. Her clothes stuck to her now, and her hair hung around her shoulders in wet clumps.

"We're you the-"

"Yes." She continued, "I was that monster looking thing. I forgot to tell you. Us Jelwes' have magic--and a lot of it too. I used magic to become that monster. There were sharks nearby and I had to scare them off so you didn't get eaten. That's it." She got up and pointed in the distance. "See that right there?" She asked. I looked into the distance. The island was a cluster of trees with a giant tower sticking out from the middle. I nodded. "That right there is an example of our magic. Doesn't look like it though."

"We're is Ginion and Hale?" I asked. She shrugged and started walking.

"Whenever you come to this island you always end up in a different place. I just happened to be close to you. Hale will find Gilion and lead him to the tower also. Let's go!" She then started trudging through the cluster of trees with me close behind.

We soon reached the tower. "This is where the magic happens. Literally." Kay told me. A gust of wind started from within the tower, and only got stronger from there. When the wind got as strong as I thought it possibly could have gotten, it picked up just enough to lift us into the air.

I was kind of used to these weird things happening, so the whole wind thingy picking me up like Mary Poppins didn't effect me much at all. We soon reached the top of the tower. The wind stopped and my instincts kicked in and I jumped onto the tower, along with Kay. Instinctively, we both entered the dark tower. I'm surprised this magic tower had no lights. It was just- darkness inside.

"Follow me." Kay scream-whispered. So, I followed her throughout the top of the tower. It wasn't exactly like a regular tower. It looked more like a school or hotel maybe. That's when I saw it. A troll looking figure with bulging red eyes and raggedy, messy thin hair. Standing against the wall of the tower, next to what looked like a hospital room.

"Who goes there?!" The troll growled. Then I noticed that there were several rooms with trolls guarding them. Why? I have no idea. Kay ignored him and kept walking. She then stopped at one strange one. It looked a bit less run-down like a broken vending machine than the others. Then she took this weird stick from her pocket and walked in, walking right through the troll. What?? She walked right through the troll! Nobody can do that!

I followed close behind her, stepping beside the troll. "How did you do that?" I asked.

She walked back over to the troll. "Hologram." She said and swiped her hands through it two more times. "Holograms to keep this place secure. They are set up so that people who randomly wander get the message that they aren't welcome, and leave."  She walks over to a mirror, and stands there for me to come next to her. Then without me knowing, she takes my hand and taps the stick she had earlier on the full length mirror. Then there was a flash of green light.

Then we were in a some person's home.
