Chapter 13

Jungkook POV

I walk into the school and everyone is surrounding me, the usual.

This girl came up to me and was making me uncomfortable.

"Hey hot stuff, what are you up to later?"and started getting close to me.

Ew.

Before I blinked, She kissed me and I tried pulling her off, but she hung on to me like a cat.

"What did you do that for?!" I shouted and pushed her away.

"What, you're hot, duh." She replied, like I was dumb.

I turned around to see Areum.

Why me?!

I saw her looking at me and she ran quickly.

I saw tears in her eyes.

I tried to find her, but too late. She hid herself good.

I checked quickly the doors and classrooms, but no luck.

The bell was about to ring, so I went to my homeroom and saw her there.

Thank goodness she's here.

I sat in my seat quickly, before Vang caught me.

She looked so sad, it made me sad.

I tried calling her name, but she wouldn't turn around.

I decided to talk to her at Art, since I have her right next to me.

*Art*

She sat down completely ignoring me.

"Areum listen to me, I can explain."

She looked at me with hurt eyes.

"There is no need to explain. I get you have a girl, just please don't talk to me." She said with a cold, harsh voice. 

"No, sweetie, you misinterpreted, I don't have a girlfriend, s-she jumped at me out of nowhere."

"So, you let her kiss you." With that, she ignored me all throughout the day.

I guess we were alright, but I didn't explain and I can tell she's hurt.

At lunch I sat down, like usual, right next to Areum.

I whispered to her, "Meet me after school at the park. Please?" I pleaded.

She just nodded her head and continued to talk to Karen and Melanie.

Hye left for a few days to visit her aunt at the States.

I continued to talk with the rest of people and we all ate until the bell rang.

Areum POV 

Why would he do this to me? I felt so depressed throughout the day, but I stuck with my classes and waited until the bell rang for school to end.

I started to walk right after I told Melanie and Karen about what happened Jungkook, since they knew something was wrong.

"Why are you acting like this Areum?" They both said.

"W-Well it's about Jungkook." I said sadly.

"WHAT happened?" Melanie said, concerned.

"I was walking to homeroom, and I saw it." I began to tear up.

"WHAT did you see?!" Karen asked also concerned.

"Jungkook and this girl were kissing." I said through breaths.

They both hugged me and I embraced it.

"W-Well I have to go and meet him at the park. Tell Chim that I'll be home in a few." I hugged them one last time before leaving.

I got to the park, but no one was here. 

I checked my watch.

3:05 p.m

I turned around and I felt a pair of eyes staring at me.

It was Jungkook.

He had an excited face on.

"I thought you wouldn't come." He said under his breath and hugged me.

I didn't want to let go.

I let go anyways.

"W-What was that f-for?" I stuttered.

"It was for you." He replied softly.

"I know you don't want to be near me or anything, but I have to explain everything." He began.

"Just like in class, I told you, you don't have to -" I began.

"No I really do. Please." He said seriously.

"Fine you stubborn." I sort of smiled when he smiled back.

"Okay. So there was a  group of people swarming me and this girl came out of the pile. She asked me if I had anything to do later, and before I could respond, She kissed me. I tried to push her away, but she was gripping on me! She let go and I pushed her and asked why she did that. She responded that I was 'hot' but that's not a good enough response and when I turned around, you were standing there. You hid and you were in class." He said sadly.

His eyes were drooped and he looked sincere.

"I swear Areum, if I could change back -" 

I hugged him.

He was startled at first, but then he went along with it and held on tight to me.

"I'm sorry. Really, I am." He whispered in my ear. "I don't want to lose you."

"You never did you bully." I whispered back.
