Charlie's POV

Today is the first day I am going to sing Meghan the song I wrote for her. I have been writing this song for a few months now. Months because I wanted to perfect it just for her to show her how much she means to me. 

I look over at my phone to see if I have any texts. Zero messages. *sigh* I was hoping Meghan had texted by now but she's probably rehearsing. 

There's a knock at my door. I go to open it, standing in front of me is Meghan. 

"Hey Char Char" she says. She dyed her hair, she still looks as beautiful as ever. "Helloooo Charlie, you gonna let me in or what? " 

"Huh?, oh yeah sorry" I say realizing that I'd been to distracted looking at her for too long. "You look great by the way" I say turning away blushing. 

"Thanks Char" she says with a huge smile on her face. I sit down back at the table and exit the tab where I had the song I wrote for her. She comes and sits on my lap.  

"You nervous for tonight babe?" Did she just call me babe? I smie. " Mhm. Nervous because I'll be performing One Call Away for the first time" 

She looks at me, "You'll be great, I already know it " 

"Thanks Meghan, I hope I will be  " I say leaning in and giving her a kiss. 

"Hey Char- Oh whoa my bad" my sister Mikaela walks in as Meghan and I pull away from each other. I look at her she's blushing I rub my hand against the back of my neck. "Hey Kaela, what's up?" I say 

"Sorry for interrupting but you have to rehearse and get ready now" she says with a sly grin then leaves the room.

Meghan and I laugh, she lays her forehead on my shoulder. "I better get going I say" giving her a kiss on the cheek. "See you later princess" 

"Bye my prince"

2 mins before Charlie is about to perform...

I'm in a red and black flannel and jeans with high top sneakers. I'm about to sing one call away then afterwards I will start singing my song for Meghan. 

Meghan will walk on stage  to be with me on the second verse of One Call Away. I am so nervous. 

I walk onto the stage and start singing " I'm only one call away.."

Just as I'm about to finish the chorus, Meghan walks out in a red skater dress looking as gorgeous as ever with high heels. As she approaches me she stumbles a little but I catch her. "You okay?" She nods.

I continue singing One Call Away will holding her hands. 

As the song ends, I let go of her hand for a few minutes and turn to the audience to say, 

"This next song, I wrote a few months back. About  a girl, we were in the same hotel room one night writing songs together. That was the night I realized how much I loved this friend of mine and how much I wanted to be more than friends with her.. The person I wrote this song for doesn't know it's about her until now..." I say looking back at Meghan smiling. She looks so touched. 

"This is ' Then There's You' " This is for you Meghan Elizabeth Trainor.. I love you soo much. "I walk back and hold her hands, looking into her eyes and sing,

When I finish singing the last note, Meghan wiping away tears hugs me tightly and says, " I love you too Charlie". I hold her as tight as I can. 

The audience is cheering "Marlie, Marlie, Marlie" 

But Meghan and I stay in that position never wanting let go of each other,  stuck in our own little world.
