She stood in front of the the stage, her shouts drowned out by the thousands of others.She was in her favorite place on the planet, the one place she truly felt at home.
The spotlights came on, and they walked out. He walked out last.Harold Edward Styles. Just looking at his face made her heart hurt. There were so many things she wanted to do, sprint across the few feet of distance between them and talk to him. There were so many things she wanted to say, but she knew she could never do that. Though there was only a bit of space between them, the distance between their hearts was the size of an ocean, a black sea which she could never cross, never go closer to the boy, the boy that saved her life.
Though it was true that she wished she could be the reason for his beautiful smile, the one he held in his arms at night, the one sang songs softly and told awful jokes to, all that she really wanted was for him to be happy, always smiling, so that he could make a million more people smile.
She knew that this was the last she was seeing him for a long time. This was their last show in her city before they went on their break. She had to survive on her own now, for sometime, let go the people she had come to depend on entirely for a source of laughter whenever she was feeling lonely,which was often.
She didn't have him physically, but she would always have him in her heart. Maybe she would even get to speak to him someday. She knew what she wanted to say."Thank you.Thank you for being my idol. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for lifting up my heart whenever I am feeling low. Thank you making me laugh no matter mood I am in. Thank you being the light of life even though you don't know me. Thank you believing I am the best. Thank you for being my reason to live.
Till then, she would have to keep hoping.;)
