I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing.

Aga naman nito oh.

Wala pa akong matinong tulog kasi nag-movie marathon ako kagabi.

Without looking at the screen, I pressed the answer button.

"Hello?"

"DAAAKKKSSS!!!"

"Victonara naman eh! Di ako bingi. Aga aga, nambubulabog."

"You mean nasa kama ka pa? Alas-onse na te!

Bumangon ka na diyan at pumunta ka dito sa shop, please!"

"Teka, teka. Usapan natin Wednesday lang trabaho ko jan ah."

"Oo nga. Kung wala sanang nagpuntang customer ngayon na ikaw ang hanap.

Halika na, maawa ka. Hindi raw siya aalis hangga't di ka dumarating."

"What? Sino ba yan?"

"Jeron ang name."

Napabalikwas ako ng bangon sa sinabi niya.

OH MY GOSH BLOOMERANG JUST GOT REAL

"Eto na, eto na. Papunta na."

"Bilisan mo!"

I immediately got up from my bed and fixed myself.

THAT GIRL.

Andun na ako eh.

Pero dahil sa kanya, back to zero ako ngayon kay Meg.

Bad trip talaga.

I invited Meg for dinner in Cafe Ysabel, a vintage restaurant located in San Juan.

"Wow, this is beautiful, Jeron.", she blurted out.

"Only the best for you."

I knew she would love the place because Meg likes things "instagrammable".

After assisting her to be seated, I went to my seat and got the bouquet of flowers I bought earlier.

"Flowers for you. This is who you are for me.", I said sincerely.

Meg smiled but I caught the disappointed look on her face when she saw the roses.

"Why? Didn't you like it?"

"Is this really who am I for you?", she asked.

"Yes.", I responded, remembering the things Mika said about yellow roses.

"Wow Jeron. So kaibigan lang pala ang tingin mo sa akin? Ano 'to? Pinapaasa mo lang ako?", sunud-sunod niyang tanong.

"Wha... what?"

I don't get it.

"Yellow roses mean friendship.", Meg explained.
