Chapter XIV(14)

After Fallen apologized he let me stay in thier guest room, so I finally had my own room. My brother thought it was too dangerous that he stayed too long so he left three days later. There were tears when he left, but I finally let him go from our tight long hug.

Once he left the next day Ethan came back from his trip, unfortunatly. Once he came back and he came home he imediatly noticed a thriteen year old living in thier house. He took one look at me and imedeatly turned to his family and asked curiously " Um, who is she?"

Jayden smiled and replied almost laughing at the look on his face, " Ethan, meet Blaze. The real one." He looked a bit confused, but slowly took it in. " So, are you one of those things my told me about?"

He had implied it a bit coldly and I winced. His eyes softened a bit, but didn't look away. "Well first of all if I was I wouldn't be here.Well, kinda, except without all the bad things." I replied quietly and a bit offened.

He smiled and declared " Good. I never thought you were." My mouth dropped to the floor. As soon as I found out I still had it open I quickly closed it and stuck my tung out at Jayden when I saw him laughing.

Ethan smiled. "You really thought I would belive all stuff about you? Well yeah there was still a slim chance, but I know you. You would never do that. No matter how annoying you are."

I smiled at bit at the comment and felt my cheeks heat up. He smiled again.

A week has past and everyone in the family has gotten used to me. Fallen had to go back to "work."

I had a suspetion that he was hiding something so I kept an eye on him, but came up with nothing.

The family is telling thier relitives that I was recently adopted. That my parents had died in a fire. They belived them and welcomed me quiet pleasantly. They through me a welcome-to-the-family-party. They trearted me as if I had known them for years with warm smiles and hugs when they left.

The family was planning to go a camping trip to Garnder. Gardener is a camping site in the mountians witha river. I was exploding with excitment whn we got to our site. We unpacked our stuff and set the tent and since no one was around to watch I used my powers to set the cam quicker.

Once we were finally done I ran/skipped to the river. I've gone to a river before, but never for a nice relaxing vaca, but for bathing and practicly drinking up all the water.

Whe we finally got there I was already in my bathing suit so I imedietly jumped into the cooling river bomb style. I sent so much water flying I had gotten the rest of the family completely wet.

Ethan yelled, " Hey! I'm in my favorite shirt! You're gonna pay for that!" He took of his shirt and came swimming after me. He never caught up to me so he gave up completely tired from all the swiming I made him do. I wasn't even tired when he decided to give up, but then again I'm not even human.

He floated on his back with his eyes closed. I saw Jayden as slowly and as quietly as possible creep up to Ethan and splash water on his face makeing him momenteraly choke.

Ethan got up and looked for Jayden. Ethan saw enough for him to know it wasn't me. He looked around furiously. All of a sudden Jayden jumped up fro behind him and what looked like scared the shit out of him! It was halarious!

Ethan jumped and fell on his back into the water. The look on his face was priceless! I was laughing so hard my stomach began to hurt so I tried to calm myself enough to say " Wow, Ethan, I never thought you could get so scared easily."

He gave my a cold glare before going off chasing Jayden cursing at him while Jayden laughed histaricly.

After our little swim the night began to come down apon us so we got out and went back to the site. Emma, Aisha and I grabed our clean clothings and went to the bath rooms where we took a shower and put on our cloths. We walked back to the site in silence.

Emma was the first to break the silence. "Honey, I want you to be comfertable around us. I want you to meet new people."

I took it in a bit slowly nodding my had." I am comfertable around you guys." I replied.

" Do you mind going to school in the fall?" Emma blurted not wanting for me to feel offended. I smiled at her. " I appreciate the offer, but I'm not sure i wanna go."

" Please go. I want you to be social. I want you to have friends like normal people. I want you to feel like your a part of this family." she was pleading so much I couldn't say no to those hazle eyes. I smiled and accepted the offer.

Emma jumped up and down with joy. She hugged me tightly and I returned it. She pulled away and smiled down at me.

" Why are you so happy mom?" Ethan and Jayden asked at the same time.The turned to each other an smiled but then looked back at us.

"Blaze is gonna go to school!" Emma replied shouting with joy.

"Cool. Now I get to tease you when youe a fishy at me school." Ethan teased. Jayden elbowed him playfully. " Thats good. You'll get to meet new peolple. Maybe even a boyfriend." Jayden said wiggling his eyebrows up and down.

I rolled my eyes at him. Why do boys have to be soo annoying?

Once we got to the site we made dinner and sat at the wooden table next to our tents. The boys would have one and the girls the other.

After dinner we went to bed.

In the morning we went hiking in the mountians. I wanted to take the hard trail, so I went with Ethan and Jayden while Emma went to the shorter one with Aisha.

The whole way we were goofing around. We finally got to the top. The view was amazing. Strange shaped mountians all around covered with green fuzz I'm assuming was plants.

The sun was up high and I could spot the river from here. We went back to the beginning of the trail where we met up with Emma an Aisha. She would be going to prek in the fall too.

Emma went back to the site to star packing and would pick us up at the river where the water was wild. We got on flouties and flouted on the fast current. It was finally time for us to leave so we got our stuff and left back to Laredo.
