Chapter 4 :)!

Screeeeech!
The siren - more commonly known as the school bell - penetrated though high school's students skulls, signalling the beginning of lunch and the end of period 3.
2 more lessons to go. Kaylee numbly thought, as she grabbed her bag from the hooks attached to the classroom wall. Slipping it onto her shoulder, she awkwardly slid past the group of congregating teenagers next to the door.
Heading out the mathematics corridor towards the science wing to meet Nash and Tod, she thought about the news she discovered yesterday. A slight blush crept onto her face as she embarrassingly remembered how she'd reacted to the news of another death, the near-fainting episode and panic attacks and what-not.
It was a lot to get your head around though, and she decided she was allowed at least one day of complete indulgence. But that days over now, and she must to try carry on as normal.
It had been just 2 days since the first murder on a early Saturday morning, 1 day since she'd freaked out at the revelation of a second murder, and a day since they'd all agreed (moreover Tod and Nash agreed) to keep their knowledge from the police.
Kaylee still couldn't reason it was the right thing to do, not tell the police. The Hudson brothers had both said why they couldn't last night, but she couldn't quite agree to it.

The three of them were sat in the front room in Kaylee's spotless house, waiting for the news of another malicious murder the sink in, and trying the overcome the shock that came with it.
After what seemed like a lifetime, Kaylee took a deep, calming breath and slowly stood up, heading towards the door.
"Wait," Tod called. "Where are you going?"
"I'm going to the police. I have to. Another person has died, been murdered, and I need to let them know all I know. How can I not." She said simply, more statement than question.
"By sitting down and speaking to us. Don't you see, Kay?" Nash huffed haughtily.
"We can't go to the police right now, not ever. If your right about the murderer seeing you, than you need to stay as far away from the spotlight as possible. Not charge right in. And honestly. What will it achieve?" He dragged his hand through his messily styled hair and spoke sarcastically.
"That he had green eyes? Great help that is. Really narrows it down.
"It'll help by forming a rough identity, and that's better than nothing!" She said, somewhat defensively.
"Well, in that case, basing the murderer on that, it could be me!" he exclaimed, voice rising.
"It could be!"
"Oh, shush both of you." Tod injected tiredly. "We've all got enough on our plates without you two falling out as well. They both mumbled a quiet 'sorry'.
"But, speaking of the argument, and don't get mad at me, I agree with Nash. Beca-, no, Kaylee don't, let me speak! Although he also has a valid reason, this isn't all about you either.
"I was up for the majority of last night and I began to think of everything that's happened so far. I mean, how couldn't I, with all the thoughts buzzing around in my head. And I saw things in a, well I suppose you could call it, different light.
