Hoshi texted Lillie saying he'd be at her house so they could hang out. He planned to give her the notecard then, and see her reaction once again himself. He knocked on her door, and in a minute the door flew open. His heart raced at the thought of her.

"I have your notecard." Hoshi smiled.

"Yes!" She took the card in her skinny, small hands, and read it. Another smile spread. "Ugh the ending was cute, poor Minghao. Oh well" she said.

Hoshi stared at her, face in his palm.

"Would you date that person?" Hoshi asked.

"In a heartbeat."
