A kitten's way to ShadowClan (Finished)

Chapter 6

Ice shuddered as her feet entered marsh. The wet lands swamped around her and she groaned. Patch seemed to not even care, for his sake, he was studying the swamp lands, as if there was something interesting. RoachClaw plucked Ice from the dirty mud and placed her on a rock, and meowed "Your acting like a ShadowClan cat trying to get into ThunderClan camp." Patch splashed up next to them a teased "You look like a scrawny rat!" Ice growled under grinding teeth "Why don't you jump head first into some dung!"

"RoachClaw? Is it really you?!" A cat yowled from a tall rock. RoachClaw purred as the she-cat came up to him and rubbed all over his head. The cat purred even louder "You should see our kits!" RoachClaw's eyes lit up "You've had them? When?" The queen eyed him "When you went on a hunting trip. By the way, wheres all your prey?"

Ice flinched as the queen turned to them and growled.  RoachClaw stood at the queen's side and meowed "TimberFlower, these kit's could be great approval! I mean, to our clan!" TimberFlower sniffed Ice's pelt, "Where did you find them?" Ice growled as her father shrugged. Didn't he remember? Ice realized now, that her father wasn't only her and her brother's father, he had another litter to this cat. Patch was trying to make himself seem bigger by stretching out his chest.

TimberFlower finally purred, "OK, but what is CoalStar gonna say?" RoachClaw stiffened "I think he'll agree."

Ice padded after her father and TimberFlower, beside Patch. "Do you think our sibling's will like us?" Ice whispered, low enough for only him to hear. Patch looked at her with a doubtful look and sighed "I don't know, but I hope there not that young that we can't play together." Ice nodded, her brother was right. These kits might just be born, and not even have opened eyes.

Up ahead was a curve, then a huge area of brambles. Ice didn't pay any attention and ran straight into RoachClaw's leg. All her father do was try and push her away with his tail, to show she was not weak enough to hide from the other cats. TimberFlower surged into the entrance and yowled "RoachClaw has returned!" Yowls and shrieks rang along the camp, making Ice cover her ears with her paws. Patch was looking like a giant fluff ball, his whole pelt was strict with fear. RoachClaw ran into the camp to reveal the two tiny kits. Ice felt hot with embarrassment as her brother was like a exploding fluffy feather.

A pure black cat with grey around his muzzle approached the litter-mates and sniffed them. Since we are coated in mud, the cat can't pick up anything!  The cat growled "Let your fur lie flat!" Ice forced her tabby pelt to fall back in place, and Patch looked yet normal. "Well done, for a couple of outsider's." The cat purred. RoachClaw padded up to the cat, "CoalStar, I found them near the twoleg place, can they join us? We've need more kits for a while. Since the last four moons." CoalStar glanced back at the kits and sighed "True, but these are only kits, they will need nursed." TimberFlower pushed her way in the crowd and announced "I'll do it!" One cat yowled back at her "But your kits are now apprentice's!" TimberFlower growled back at the tom "Do you want to do it!?"

Silence

"That's what I thought" She turned back to the leader, "Yes, I will  do it." CoalStar dipped his head to her for standing up and mewed a thanks. RoachClaw was so stiff for the kits. Ice huddled close to her brother in fear as CoalStar yowled "These kits will join ShadowClan!" He turned back to Ice and Patch "Come get your names." Ice scurried close to her brother across the clearing to where CoalStar was perched on a dirt pile. CoalStar twitched his tail for Ice and yowled "This she-kit will be known as GalaxyKit! Until she becomes an apprentice!" GalaxyKit felt pride as yowls erupted like a storm for her and her brother, StormKit.
