A kitten's way to ShadowClan (Finished)

Chapter 9

(A moon later)

Perking her ears, GalaxyKit over-heard paw steps leave ShadowClan camp. Finally! GalaxyKit shot out the entrance to the nursery, followed by her brother, about only a mouse length away. He was growing big, he was about as tall as FeatherPaw and DustPaw now, and she was just the tiny frog in a group of foxes. Skidding to a halt, she allowed her brother to slam into her, but instead him flying past her, she shot through the air like a rocket.

Flaying her paws in all different directions, GalaxyKit exploded with yowls. Closing her eyes, GalaxyKit couldn't bear it any more and slammed right into a cat. Getting up dizzily, she looked down to see what cat she hit. She noticed admittedly the dark pelt, CoalStar. "Get off!" The leader kicked with his hind leg's and threw GalaxyKit off. The medicine cat ran forward to inspect CoalStar, then GalaxyKit, "No wounds!" CoalStar shook off his pelt and growled at the she-kit, "What kind of kit are you!?" he padded away. GalaxyKit felt small as StormKit came up behind her.

The queen's all ran from the den, to inspect GalaxyKit, not the leader. DustMoon was the one who nudged the soft kit and purred, "Your OK, thank StarClan." TimberFlower covered her in licks, murmuring, "Did he hurt you?" NightJay pointed her gaze at CoalStar, with an angry look on her face.

GalaxyKit glanced at the leader, he had his claws unsheathed, giving her a death stare. She turned back to TimberFlower, and mewed "Why doesn't he like me and StormKit?" TimberFlower harden her gaze, "CoalStar never likes kit's, until they do work and they do something than their soft lives with us, he never likes and kits he doesn't produce." She sighed, "So he wants to kill all of us, he earns our trust and then stab's us in the back by leading us in unwinnable battles." GalaxyKit cocked her head on one side, "What?" NightJay padded over, and mewed "Let's just get in the nursery, It's the safest place in this rat hole."

The queen's swooped behind StormKit and GalaxyKit to protect them. But before they got in the den, CoalStar yowled from the pile of sand, "All cats come to the pile!" The queen's cursed under their breath and turned around. TimberFlower quickly turned around and nudged the kits secretly into the den. GalaxyKit huddled in fear next to her bigger brother. She spotted FeatherPaw and DustPaw, eagerly watching the leader. CoalStar even his gaze straight at RoachClaw, who was sitting close to TimberFlower. Five cat's came out of the place, called the Warrior's den.

CoalStar let out his new's, "Our deputy has died, he died last night from......." Is he thinking?! "Hmm, Green cough!" The cats at the meeting all twitch their ears, at least they know what's up. CoalStar skimmed around the cat's and then at the nursery, he yowled "GalaxyKit! StormKit! Get out here!"

StormKit didn't even hesitate, he boasted "Come on, GalaxyKit!" Creeping out, GalaxyKit stumbled after her brother, her pelt hairs on end.

As she neared her father, he hissed into her ear, "Let your fur lie flat like your brother!" Forcing herself, her pelt lay flat as she went at the start of the sand pile were her brother had plopped a seat. CoalStar narrowed his eyes at RoachClaw again, "You will be the deputy, RoachClaw." All that came out of the small Clan of cat's were murmur's of agreement's. GalaxyKit felt bad for her dad and blurted out, "RoachClaw, RoachClaw!" CoalStar shut her up by giving her a stare, but this was a stare of wonder and........... honor? No, amusement, GalaxyKit slid down to pretty much lying down at her brother's side.

CoalStar narrowed his eyes at StormKit and meowed "StormKit will be known as StormPaw." He scanned around the camp and meowed, "His mentor will be PantherBlade." PantherBlade, which was the pure jet midnight black she-cat, who was extremely surprised and touched noses with the tabby apprentice. CoalStar leaped down from the sand pile and walked to GalaxyKit and growled, "I have other plans for you!"
