Scott played with my fingers as I drove the rest of the way.
"I'm almost shaking." I said.
"You are shaking." He agreed.
"I'm nervous."
"They're our best friends, they won't just ditch us." He assured me
I eyed him.
"Two out of three don't even know we're gay, well, I mean, I'm kind of a dead giveaway, but you look pretty straight to me." I giggled at the end.
"You just missed the turn."
"Fuck. "I cursed, pulling into a parking lot and turning around.
"You need to chill." He said.
"Could you possibly not right now? I'm already messed up and you really aren't helping." I snapped. He was silent as I pulled up to Kirstie's place.
"I don't want to do it if you're mad." He said, getting out of the far.
"Not mad." I sang.
"You are." He replied, singing also.
"Am not!"
"Yeeees yooooou aaaaarrrrrrree." He rang out loudly.
"Am not." I muttered, walking towards her door.
"Kiss me then." He said, taking my hand. I gave him a quick peck.
"No a real kiss. Plus, I know you're mad, you didn't intertwine out fingers." He pointed out.
"You know me too well." I giggled, giving him a real kiss. I realized we had been standing in front of the door a little to long for it to be normal and opened the door.
"Drunk and friend are here!" I called. I found all three of them already in the living room, Avi the only one still in his performing clothes.
"It makes me feel powerful." He said, catching me eyeing him.
"Hey, you can be a power-bottom sis." I laughed.
"Fuck you." He grumbled. I sighed. Scott and I sat on the empty couch together, still holding hands.
"You guys aren't done with that." Avi pointed out.
"Actually..." Scott started. Kirstin suddenly flipped her head toward us, ignoring the conversation Kevin and her had just been having.
"It's- uh- thing now, I guess." I squeaked. Avi's eyes showed his confusion, but Kirstin clearly got the message.
"SCÖMÍCHE IS RE-AL! SCÖMÍCHE IS RE-AL!" She jumped up and started chanting.
"You encourage this?" Avi asked, disgust clearly splayed on his face.
"KISS KISS KISS KISS!!" She ignored Avi and continued yelling.
"Earth to Kirstin? That's disgusting! How can you be fine with it?"
"We're still here Avi." Scott said, grinding his teeth angrily.
