"Morning, Take." Katsumi greeted, placing the scrambled eggs on a plate, placing it on the table in front of the man, who sat down after greeting her with a smile. "Hope you don't mind eggs and bacon today. There's some toast as well if you like."

"No problem about it. Do you have work today?" After leaving Meijo hospital, she had transferred to a new hospital with no trouble, a much more known-well one for that matter at Nishio Municipal Hospital.

She was one of the most successful doctors there, and the hospital director had promised she would go on maternity leave once she entered her second month, just so that she could get used to that life. The doctor still saw the gang, she still saw Chii and Yasuto, Kanji and Nakamura, Nagisa and she still lived with Taketo, who was supporting her all the way.

She was already half a month in and frankly, she was sort of excited to have the child, even though it was an accident. Maybe it wasn't planned, but it was still her child and she was determined to care and raise for it.

"No, Kagome's taking my shift today." she answered, swallowing her food before washing it down fully with a swish of water from her glass. "I was thinking of going shopping for clothes today since... you know." she grinned, gesturing to her stomach.

"Ah, really?" Taketo asked, taking another bite of his meal. "I can come with you if need be since I have nothing going on today. My next flight it next week," he offered as he finished off his food, along with Katsumi.

"Thanks for the food." he thanks the doctor who smiles and stands, gathering his plate and placing it in the sink. 

"So, want me to come with you?" Taketo offered again, making Katsumi furrow her brows. "Well I don't want to spoil your day off, I-"

"Do you think I would've offered to let you stay with me if you were a bother?" he chuckled, patting her head. "I'm going with you. Let's leave in one hour, okay?"

"So which shop are we going to?" Taketo asked as he came to a halt at a red light.

"I was thinking Shinjuku. I heard that some of my old high school friends shopped there for baby stuff." she answered, readjusting the straps on her seatbelt. "Therese and Mary already married and had their own kids from what they told me. They said a good shop over in Britain is Pea in a Pod, and I searched it up, apparently there's also a shop here."

"Sounds corny." Taketo laughs slightly at the store name, causing Katsumi to lightly slap his arm. 

"Yah, you came along to help! Not bother me about my store choices!" she pouts, locking her phone.

"Alright, alright, gomen." he apologizes, grinning slightly. "So what's the address?"

Entering the said store, Taketo and Katsumi look around the spacious baby store. The walls were a light pink and pastel green. There were different couples shopping, some just single mothers or fathers.

"Oh jeez..." Katsumi muttered, instinctively grabbing Taketo's hand. "Let's go, be careful, some of these people have children." she reminded Taketo.

The two weaved through aisles and past people. Some people apparently noticed Katsumi, because some mothers, who most likely came shopping with a girl friend of theirs, were watching her with awestruck eyes.

"Isn't that Katsumi Yuriko?" "Yeah... Wait, is she pregnant?" she overheard a conversation of two women nearby as she looked up to the different baby toys on a shelf. 

"I guess so, but who's that cute guy beside her? I thought she was engaged to Keiichi Tsukino? That's not him."

"Is she cheating on him?" "Oh my god, so despicable. What a bitch."
