Still nothing.
This was the 8th test made on her and it still showed nothing, but days have passed and she wasn't getting any better. Today, the doctors and Katsuki have decided that they were going to get detectives and professionals on this, they just weren't taking any more risks.
But Taketo, having no other choice, had to leave for a flight today, meaning no one but Homare was able to take care of Katsumi. The rest of the gang had things to do. Chii had a business trip, Kanji was on tour with Naka with him. Nagisa was out of town for some photo shoots with Yasuto out of town as well for a game.
Katsuki had business in another country. "Promise?" Taketo asked one more time, making Katsumi roll her eyes.
"Yes, Take," she nodded as she looked up to him with weak eyes. "I promise. There'll be doctors too, you know."
"You think I can trust that alone?" he chuckles before giving her a teasing glance. "It's you I'm dealing with here." "True, true." she giggled, sitting up slowly to hug the man.
"Bye, Take," she hugged him for a few moments before pulling away. "Have a safe trip... Be careful, okay?"
"You be safe as well, remember our promise." he said seriously with a small smile before leaving out the door after one final glance.

Taketo was supposed to be gone for 2 weeks, and so, today begins Katsumi's serious research check ups without her trusted friend.
She was hungry, for once. Katsumi being famished is quite a rare thing to happen nowadays, but the doctors would gladly feed her whenever she asked for food. She called for a nurse and Homare, who came down to her room.
She had a personal nurse, a tall brunette, who was about a foot taller than her. Her name was Ayaka, if Katsumi remembered...
"What did you need, Ms. Tsukino?" Ayaka asked, looking at her. "I'm hungry. I need some food, please." she said quietly, looking at the nurse. Katsumi purposely ignored Homare, she just couldn't look a him the same after she got pregnant with his child. Even more so when she found him with that other woman at the store.
"Alright... We hope you can stomach something more today. We'll send some food down." Ayaka smiled and left the room with Homare, who said nothing.
Soon, another nurse came into Katsumi's room with a bowl of soup and a small sandwich. Along with glass of fruit juice and water, that was enough for one meal to Kat.
She thanked the nurse and said she could handle feeding herself, wanting to just try it, seeing as she hadn't done so in a few days.
She shakily lifted a spoonful of soup and was about to eat it when a strong stench attacked her nose. It wasn't the smell of the soup, he tomato soup that is. Sandwiches, fruit juice, soup, nor water smelled like bitter almond, did it?
She looked a bit closer at the food in her hand and noticed that there was specks of white in it. She was about to shake it off as salt or something, when she was attacked by the bitter almond again. She looked into the bowl of soup and noticed more of the white specks, undissolved.
It looked rushed, like someone quickly added it in and didn't bother, or couldn't, mix it into the food. Suspicious and feeling a bit light headed from the bitter scent, she looked at her sandwich, opening it to find more of the powder scattered across the ham in her food.
Eyes widening even more, she bit her lip and peered into her juice to find even more of the powder. But her drink had more of the powder than her food does. Deciding she wasn't taking risks on this, she paged Homare down to her room, making sure it was just him.
