There were nights he spent sleeplessly musing
About her thinking of him leaving
He dreamt of her and thought of her
He couldn't eat nor sleep thinking all day about her
It was love indeed and should he confess his feeling
He pondered as she was a different alien being
He took his decisions and set his mind
Promising himself never to leave her behind
He thought of a proposal that will unite them forever
And she will accept it as she wanted them to be together
He called her again to join him for the night
Speaking of northern lights which were to be seen that night
It was a lie, she felt so with his speech full of scruples
And he arranged the beach to be the venue for proposal
At night he he decorated the beach with golden lights
The place added the beauty of starry night
She came by the sea in Chinese white with hair of mermaidian style
Bewildered by the arrangement surrounding her in a heavenly style
To him she appeared no less than a Greek goddess
With fantastic flowing curls and a lovely white dress
He went on his knees and held her hand
And presented a closed sea shell in his another hand
He opened and it and she saw a pearl ring shine
And his eyes focused on her beauty so divine
"Will you marry me and forever be mine?" asked he
To her bewilderment she gasped surprisingly
"I love you from the bottom of my heart
Come along with me to wherever I go and we'll never be apart"
He promised to her and she nodded with a smile
"I love you too my beloved and I'll be your wife"
She accepted and he slipped the ring on her finger and
She kissed and hugged her future, a promising man
So now her worries belonged to a world of oblivion
And she was what she had been 'one in a million'
The sea would give her not what she desired
She decided to live with him wherever he resided
But this was not all nothing was supposed to be what they felt
As there was something else that would happen, a new issue to be dealt
