I ran after Niall. I saw him turn around the corner into the kitchen. I pushed my hand against the corner of the wall to keep from hitting it as I turned. I stopped in the middle of the hall and stared at Niall who had stopped in the middle of the kitchen. I tilted my head down slightly and stared him down as if we were in an old western movie.
"This house ain't big enough fer the two of us." I said in the best country accent I could muster. I saw Niall smirk.
"We'll it's gon' hafta be." He said back, in a better country accent than me. Niall turned on his heel an ran out of my line of sight. I took off after him, but as I passed through the doorway to the kitchen, I felt two arms wrap around my waist and jerk me backward.
"Hey let me go! Let me go! He got Irish cooties on me!" I yelled, struggling against the strength of whoever was holding me back. All of a sudden I was whipped around and my face came close to someone else's face. It only took me a second to realize who it was.
"Josh!" I threw my arms around his neck. "I didn't think you could come tonight." I felt josh squish me right up against his body.
"I didn't think I could either, but I managed to. I heard you were cooking." Josh said. I laughed and broke the hug.
"We'll I need to start cooking." I said. "And I don't think Niall is going to get any!" I finished loudly, making sure Niall could hear me wherever he was in the house. I heard loud thuds coming from upstairs.
"I'm sorry! I love you!" Niall came crashing into the kitchen and wrapped his arms around my head, smashing my face into his chest.
"Okay okay. Uhm ow, Niall." I put my hands on his stomach and tried to push away. I felt his squeeze tighter. "Niall...you're going to pop my head off." I said in a muffled voice.
"No! I'm not letting you go until you say you love me an let me have food!" Niall said in a pouty voice. I rolled my eyes. He's such a child.
"Okay! I love you and you can have food. Now let me breathe some fresh air. You're wearing so much cologne I think I'm gonna faint from chemical inhalation." I pushed away from Niall and took an exaggerated breath in. "Jesus, when did you get so strong?" I massaged my neck and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. "Where's Lou?" I asked.
"Upstairs." Liam answered without looking up from his cards. I nodded and skipped off toward the stairs.
"Oh loooouiiiis!!" I called sweetly, skipping up two stairs at a time. "Boo bear!" I got to the top of the stairs and made my way to Lou's room. I knocked lightly.
"Yeah?" I heard him answer. I turned the handle.
"I'm coming in." I pushed the door open and stood in the opening. Louis was doing something on his phone. I put my hands on my hips, but let them fall and let out a sigh. "You gonna help me cook?" Louis kept doing whatever on his phone and ignored me. I rolled my eyes. "Give me that." I walked over to his bed and took his phone out o his hands. I put it in my bra and put one leg on either side of Louis' body.
"Helloooo?" I knocked on Louis' head. "Are you listening?" Louis avoided my eye contact. "What's wrong?" I placed my hands on either side of his face and pulled his head up so he would look at me. "Hey what's wrong, Lou?" No answer.
I brushed some hair away from his eyes. "C'mon Louis, answer me." I said quietly. I saw a tear slide down Louis' cheek. I wiped it away with my thumb and buried my face into the crook of his neck. I felt Louis snake his arms around my waist and pull me closer to him.
"It's just..." Louis started. I heard the words get caught in his throat.
"Just what?" I wanted him to continue. I always hated seeing any I the boys like this. "C'mon you can tell me." I urged.
"I've been reading...a-a lot about me online." I felt him take a deep breath in. "It's...not very nice stuff..." I picked my head up off of his shoulder.
"You're getting a lot of hate? I'm so sorry..." I looked down at my lap. "Don't worry, honey." I soothed. "There are so many more people who love you more than life than there are people that don't like you. They don't even have a reason for..."
"You don't understand." Louis cut me off. I furrowed my eyebrows together at him.
"What do you mean?" I asked getting more concerned. Louis let out a sigh and let his tears pour over his bottom lashes. I felt myself starting to tear up at the sight of my best fried crying.
"They've been saying I should kill myself..." Louis started. "And I've been think about doing it..."
