1. Compliment Them.

The sun was setting over Paris, it's spare light reflecting in the buildings around him. It looked beautiful, Adrien had to admit, but yet the streets felt empty, without it's usually portion of people. Maybe it was because he was earlier up, because of an unusual early photoshoot.

He stifled a yawn, he had lost remarkable much sleep lately, because of the increased amount of attack from akumas. Not that he complained about his superhero life, he enjoyed each second of it. Yet he couldn't help but wish for more sleep. After all he was just an average teenage boy, with normal sleep behaviours. Or, nearly average, at least.

He wondered quietly if he should go home, but he didn't felt like spending the time before school in an empty house, which made the loneliness only feel worse. So instead he choose to go to the first place he could think of.

Marinette's house.

It was first after he had knocked on her door, he realized how stupid he had been. Marinette and her parents was probably not even awake, and he couldn't just come uninvited into their home, especially not in the morning. That would be seen as rude, and he didn't want to disturb Marinette or her parents.

Before he could turn around and walk away, the door opened, to reveal Marinette's mom standing fully dressed, with messy morning hair and a kind smile, in the door opening. Her eyes widened with surprise as she saw him. "Good morning Adrien. What are you doing here so early?" she asked, knitting her brows slightly.

"Eh," he said, nervously scratching his neck, as he realized he didn't had an explanation,"I just want to visit Marinette."

Marinette's mom's smile widened. "Okay, just come inside," she said, making place for him to enter the house.

As he entered the house the smell of food meet him together with the sight of the mess a real family leaved behind. A lovely change from his own house.

He took of his jackets and shoes, and careful put them in place, before he followed Marinette's mom into the living room, where he hesitated to go any further, not knowing exactly where to place himself.

Marinette's mom must've have sensed his uncomfortableness, because she smiled gently at him. "You can just go upstairs, Marinette have been up for a while now."

With butterflies trashing around in his stomach, he started walking up to Marinette's room. Thoughts about how she would react swarming around in his head. Would she be angry or happy to see him?

Doesn't matter, he thought gloomily. It was too late to change his mind now.

Anxiously he pulled the door handle down and entered her room.

He had only been here a couple of times, but yet the room felt more like a home than, well, his actually home. There was just one thing completely wrong with it.

There was no sign of Marinette.

"Marinette?" he asked, frowning slightly.

Where could she be? He wondered. Maybe downstairs in the bathroom? Or maybe she hadn't been here at all?

Suddenly he heard a groan from the bed, and the covers got thrown away, just to reveal Marinette. Her black hair was messy, and she had black shadows under her eyes. She was wearing her favorite pair jeans, which was a bright pink. There was just one problem, because where her shirt should have been...where her shirt should have been...there wasn't one. Instead there was a discreet black bra.

"Sorry mom," Marinette said, yawning. "I must've slept talked again to you. I can't even remember how I ended in my bed again, or how I got half dressed. The last I remember is me pondering over my newest fash--" Marinette froze suddenly, her sky blue eyes fixed at Adrien with shock. "A-Adrien?" she asked in disbelief.

Adrien could feel his mouth hung slightly open, and heat rising to his cheeks. He didn't know what shocked him most, having just seen Marinette confident and in balance without being in deadly danger, or seeing her without a shirt. "Nice bra," he blurted out, before he could think through what he was saying.

As soon as the words left his mouth, he mentally facepalmed.

Nice bra?

Great way to sound like a giant pervert and an idiot. As if the hanging mouth didn't already do the job.

He quickly closed it, as he remembered it hanging open, hoping that Marinette hadn't seen it.

Marinette's eyes widened, and it looked like she was going to have an heartattack. She said something fast, that didn't really made sense, before she just shut up.

They stood in the awkward scene in what felt like hours, both of them blushing a color brighter than Ladybug's mask. Then Adrien cleared his throat. "I'm just going to wait outside until you get dressed." he stated awkwardly.

Marinette nodded, still staring speechless at him.

With that picture in mind, he turned around and closed the door behind him, staring at it for a while, until he at last started to talk, setting words on the thoughts swirling around in his head.

"I just compliment Marinette's bra." he mumbled.

"It was probably a pretty bra then." Plaggs muffled voice said, coming somewhere from his bag. "But why was you even looking there?"

"I don't know." he muttered, feeling heat rushing to his cheeks.

"That's what I have always told you Adrien. Why have crushes when you can have cheese?" Plagg advised, but quickly ruined it, by laughing.

Adrien just let him. At least someone thought it was funny.

Well, I would just like to point out that complimenting a girl's bra, is not a good compliment, but Jaz insisted that this would be perfect for the first chapter. So alas, here it is.

Jaz: Well, since Adrien now has granted us he's 'oh so great' words of wisdom, I will mean it's time to go.

Bye!
