Adrien didn't know how they had ended up like this. Sitting so close on each other that their skin touched, both of them watching, nearly hypnotized, the horror movie.

Or wait, he knew exactly how this had happened: Nino and Alya.

Those sneaky bastards. They had made him and Marinette come over to Alya house under the excuse that they were going to hold a movie night all together. Funny enough Alya had to leave an hour ago to 'pick up' Nino, fittingly setting on a romantic movie meanwhile. Leaving him and Marinette together, completely alone in the room, of course, to watch the romantic movie.

In the start he hadn't realized it was a romantic movie, but 10 minutes into the movie, it got clear. Yet he didn't say anything, figuring that Marinette maybe would like to watch the movie. Honestly he didn't know what to expect from her, because in one way she was an expressionfull clumsy girl, who liked pink, and on the other side she was a pro to Mega Strike 3, calm fighting akumatized villians and able to save Chat Noir's (aka. his) butt with such a ease, that you should think she did it everyday.

But that's what he liked about her, she constantly surprised him in the most amusing ways.

Time ticked slowly by, as the movie continued, and finally he had started to believe that Marinette actually enjoyed the movie, until she once again surprised him. "This movie is stupid," she commented annoyed, not stammering or blushing around him for the first time he could remember. "And super cliche," she added.

"You think?" he asked, smirking slightly. Secretly being relieved that he didn't had to watch more of the horribleness called a movie.

"Seriously, why is it so slow paced? There's so much time where you just sit, having figured out what's going to happen next. Where's the excitement and the action?" Marinette continued to ramble.

"You know, we could shift the movie." he suggested.

Marinette smiled, realising she was on the way to Rambling Country once again. "That's fine with me, as long as it isn't a romantic movie, and there's action in it, I would take anyone." she said with a shy smile.

He grinned, and jumped down to look through Alya's movies, at last picking a movie named Sinister.

So that was why he was sitting here. Still not quite sure how he and Marinette had gotten so close and who had moved. Maybe they had instinctively moved closer, wanting to know they weren't the only human beings watching the terrible scene in front of them, wanting to know there was more out there, than flickering shadows and dim light. And here they sat, Marinette anxiously hugging her own legs in front of her, staring wide eyed at the tv-screen, and him sitting tense in the couch, his arm brushing lightly against hers.

They continued to watch at the main character wandered around in his own house, haunting ghosts with a baseball bat. The scene being just as stupid as horrifying.

"Why doesn't he turn on the light?" Marinette asked, her voice tense and filled with fear.

He let out a small and weak laugher. "It's actually pretty stupid."

"He could also burn the film rolls." She pointed out, a hint of annoyance in her voice.

Their little conservation got cut off with the vision of the movie's monster appearing behind the man, with a sinister smile on it's lip. A loud gasp escaped his lips from the shock, and Marinette let out a small scream of surprise, even though she quickly shut up again.

Adrien suddenly felt a pang of respect for the girl. Even he had let out a gasp, and he had faced many horrors as Chat Noir. And without thinking it through, or even thinking at all, he laid an arm around her shoulder, pulling her closer to him, following a strange urge to protect her.

"Adrien, what are you doing?" she asked nervously.

"Oh," he said, suddenly feeling ashamed of what he was doing. "Do you want me to let go?"

"No!" Marinette protested quickly. "It's fine! It's actually really nice."

"Ah, okay. Great." he replied awkwardly.

Soon the awkward silence turned comfortable and as the movie moved forward, Marinette snuggled closer on him, and he laid more weight over at her. When the movie ended, nobody moved, and soon both of them drifted into a deep sleep. None of them knowing they would wake up with a little of a shock the next morning.

Again, I would like to point out that 'movienight' isn't exactly a tip, but if you want to snuggle up with someone, it's a good excuse.

Jaz: Sorry guys, I know this story was far from as hilarious--

It was not hilarious!

It totally was. Anyway, I know it's not hilarious, but sadly Adrien don't embarrass himself as often as you could hope. So here's some fluff!

'As often as you could hope'. I prefer not embarrassing myself! I'm still blushing every time I see Marinette because of that incident.

Yeah, that's why you are blushing.... (Not)
