The Alterego

Everybody wants to be this person that is free, untamed, out in the open with a whole world to discover. But nobody wants to pay the piper. Neither do we want to remain the way we are. We create people inside our heads and tell them about how much we have done and that we deserve the better things in life.

It happens with everyone, everyday. We look at our own selves the way we want to look while presenting ourselves in front of others. The thing is about being less awkward around new people, reading their minds and somewhere deep inside - becoming the person others can only dream about.

Though we all know that none of it will happen because of the circumstances and the facts lesser known or mostly shurugged off by the others. At this point, a part of us gives up and seizes to contribute in any way so. Each time You feel neglected and treated like trash something terrible grows inside of You. It's cancerous growth does not take long to take over the mind of the infected. This tumor shows us how it feels like to have all. Pride, lust, vanity - our personalities become the bigger examples of these words that earlier had no means of existence in our books of life.

The person is seduced by the personality of the other side for it is everything he ever wanted to be. Between the points of destroying oneself and imploding with fear we find this newly discovered side helping us to make sense of all that going on and around. Gradually, we let our true personalities die off and let The Alterego get the best of us. Sooner or later when these two sides clash, fighting for their own existence, the mind breaks loose and is left in place with a no recognition.
