"What do you want Love?" Lou asked me as we walked into Maggie Moo's.
"Um, a chocolate ice cream cone with M&Ms!!!" I said with a bit to much excitement. Louis chuckled, muttering something about me being like a child.
"Two chocolate ice cream cones with M&Ms please." Lou told the cashier behind the counter, then smiled at me as the cashier got our cones.
"What?"
"Nothing. You just look beautiful."
"Thank you." I said, blushing, as the cashier handed us our ice cream cones.
"That'll be £8."
Louis let go of my hand to reach in his pocket for his wallet. He pulled out eight pounds, handing it to the cashier. He grasped my hand as we walked out into the chilly Autumn air.
"Now what love?" I just simply shrugged my shoulders. "Walk around town?"
"Sure."
Most people saw Louis as this horrible, badass person. But me? I see him as a misunderstood person who, yeah, has a rough exterior. But under that exterior is a sweet, caring person who needs to know that not everybody thinks he's a monster. Even though some parts of his life has violence included in them, he isn't a monster.
"What are you thinking about so hard babe?" Louis voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"What?"
"What are you thinking so hard about?"
"Oh. Just nothing."
Louis leaned into my ear. I could feel his hot breath on my ear and neck. "You and I both know that's a lie. Now tell me what were you thinking about?" He whispered in a near seductive voice.
"Y-you." I moaned out, feeling chills run through my entire body.
"What about me?" I knew he wasn't gonna let this go so I figured I might as well tell him.
"How misunderstood you are. How everybody thinks you're trouble. But I don't."
"Then what do you think?"
"That you are a soft caring guy who puts up walls and doesn't let anybody through which is why there isn't a gate in his walls. They are just concrete walls. Concrete walls meant to protect this little terrified boy who doesn't want anybody to know his secrets, his past, or his pain. Concrete walls meant to scare everybody away. Somehow, and I don't know how, but somehow I slipped through those walls and I get to see the real Louis William Tomlinson, or at least more real than what you how everybody else."
I stared into his eyes the entire time I was talking, watching as his dark eyes turned from dark and restricted to a blue sea of emotions. There was shock, happiness, and the one that scared me. I saw fear in this fearless boy's eyes. Fear that I could actually read him like that? Or something else? I couldn't put my finger quite on what it was but I planned on finding out. But there was also vulnerability in his eyes. Honestly, I'm not sure what I'm more shocked about. The fact that his eyes aren't dark and hiding what he's thinking, or the fact that I just made him vulnerable.
"How do you do that?"
"Do What?"
"You've been in my life for less than 48 hours and you can already read me pretty well. How?" He said, the entire time not breaking our eye contact.
"I don't know. It's just who you are. I can't usually see it in your eyes. But every now and then, they'll hold a glimmer of light in those normally dark eyes."
"You will never cease to amaze me will you?"
"Eh, probably not. Now shall we continue on our walk?"
"I was thinking we could go back to your place actually." He suggested, shrugging.
"Why?" I asked nervously. A million thoughts ran through my mind.
"Don't worry. I'm not trying to get in your pants. My intentions are purely pure. I just want to cuddle."
"You're adorable." He just stuck his bottom lip out at me. To be completely honest, it was sexy.
"I am not adorable!"
"You just asked me to cuddle, I am allowed to call you adorable."
"Fine." He said. I kissed him swiftly, then grabbing his hand and dragging him to Maggie Moo's parking lot to his motorcycle.
*An hour later*
We had been cuddling and talking, but I made the mistake of revealing to Louis that I was super ticklish. At that moment, he decided on chasing me around the house. Trying to catch me and tickle me to death. Which was NOT going to happen because I am not going to let it! I ran into the kitchen to hide in the pantry and hoped he hadn't seen me come in.
"Ali! Oh Ali!"
He yells and I stop breathing as he rummages through the kitchen looking for me. He opens the pantry door and I mentally start yelling at my self until he closes it up. I her the kitchen door open and close so I carefully and quietly crawl out of the pantry only to be met by Louis on the other side of the countertop.
"Hi love."
"H-hi."
I decided my best option was to make a run for it out the kitchen door so I do except two strong arms wrap around me.
"Gotcha." Louis whispered in my ear as he carried me to the couch and started tickling me.
"L-Lou s-stop!!"
"Hmm nope!"
"Pl-please!!!"
"Oh but I really enjoy this position. Ya know, cause I am on top of you."
"L-l-Lou please? St-stop it!!"
"Hmm only if you say the magic words. The magic words are Louis is the best!"
"L-Lou I-is t-t-the b-b-best! L-Lou s-stop!!"
"Okay okay." Louis said as he stopped. He then squirmed his way under me. I flipped over so my head was resting on his chest and he wrapped his arms protectively around me.
"Louis?"
"Yes love?"
"Can I ask you an important question?"
"Of course."
"Do you like nuts in your brownies?" Louis just laughed.
"What's so funny?" I pouted at him.
"You said you needed to ask me an important question."
"It's important to me! What if, one day, I want to bake you brownies?! I'll need to know if you like nuts or not!!"
"Okay love, it's an important question. And no I don't."
"Thank you."
"Anything for you love." Louis said as he kissed my cheek. We just laid there in a very comfy silence. Could we have just stayed like that forever?
Apparently not as my parents walked in.
