Chapter 2

Andy's POV :

I look at my mates beautiful face. She looked so sweet and innocent, I didn't understand how she ended up as a rogue.
I looked down to her arms and her legs. She was covered with scars and bruises.
I felt my wolf begin to growl in anger, I could feel my eyes begin to go darker.
How dare someone other than me touch my mate.
AND THEN HURT HER!
I stroke my hand across my mates face, this seemed to calm me.
I gently pick her up bridal style and carry her over to the pack house. I needed to get her to the doctor, and fast.
I begin to run at a steady pace towards the pack house.

Ali get Dr Sebastian, I've found my mate.

I mind link Ali, if the doctor was prepared for a new patient then maybe I could get her home faster.

What the hell was your mate doing out in the woods?

Long story Bro, just get Dr Sebastian.

I could feel my mate stirring in my arms, I still couldn't believe she thought I was going to hurt her.
What had my mate been through to think this?

I shrug my thoughts off as I had reached the pack house.
I ignored everyone's greetings and went straight to the pack doctor.

'Dr Sebastian I need you now, my mate and your future luna needs your assistance.'

Almost everyone gasped at the part about their new luna. I couldn't care less though as I needed the doctor and I needed the doctor, NOW.

'I'm here alpha, oh my goddess. What happened to her?'

The doctor had gasped at the sight of my mate.

I stare at her forlorn. It hurt me so much that I couldn't save my mate from all of this pain she had been through.
It hurt me that I couldn't be there to prevent it.
Every single scar on her body could have been stopped if I were there.
Well all I can do now is love every single one of them. All of these scars make her into what she is today, and I will love her for it.

And I will also kill the bastard who inflicted this pain on her.

'Doctor show me to her room.'

Brooke's POV :

I awoke in a... bed?
I take in my surroundings and find that I'm in a VERY bright room which was also VERY white.
To my left I also see a tall and masculine man sitting in a chair, he looked as if he was sleeping.

I backed away and whimpered at his strong presence, he was only going to hurt me just like the others.
He awoke suddenly and his eyes fell on me.
For some reason I didn't feel so intimidated, instead his eyes seemed to calm me.

'You're awake how are you feeling?'

He asked. I felt compelled to answer, scared he was only going to hit me for speaking.
I quietly whimper again, trying to avoid his gaze.

'Hey its ok, my name is Andy. I'm the alpha of the moonlit pack and I'm also your mate. I bought you to the hospital after you had passed out. I wanted to make sure you were ok.'

He said, a warm smile appearing on his face. I felt myself smile back weakly. I didn't understand my feelings anymore.
Some of me was still scared, yet I also felt happy.
But more than anything I was confused.
Did he just call me his mate?
And he actually cared about my health?
Was he my mate and he actually didn't want to reject me?

'So what's your name pretty one?'

My heart fluttered and I felt my cheeks burn a dark crimson.

'M-my names B-brooke.'

I usually struggled with my words but for some reason I felt somewhat comfortable talking to Andy.

It's because he's your mate, he's not like the other men. Everyone in this pack will be okay. We will be ok.

My wolf was overjoyed at Andy's presence, I was confused why.

'A-andy...'

'Yes pretty one.'

'W-when can I leave...'

I didn't want to stay in this room any longer, it was starting to feel like a cell. I needed to get out of here.

'The doctor is just going to come with your medication and then forms for me to sign. Then I will bring you back home... If you want to pretty one.'

I still had a feeling of uncertainty but my wolf reassured me that he would never do anything to hurt us, he was our mate.

'Andy, I want to go home...'

He let out a gasp and I instantly felt bad.

'I-I mean I w-would l - like to g-go home...'

He looked over at me confused.

'What pretty one?'

'I am s-sorry I didn't mean to command to go h-home...'

How foolish could I be, how dare I demand to go home. I was surely going to get whipped now.

'Hey hey hey pretty one, it's no problem. I'll bring you home as soon as I can, and I'll introduce you to all my siblings as well.'

S-siblings.

I don't really remember my family, I just remember.... what happened.
I remember having one caring sibling, my brother, Alistar.
My other siblings were horrible, all of my family did things to me.
Alistar was basically the only family I had.
I could feel myself become teary eyed and a single tear rolled down my cheek.

'Pretty one, what's wrong?
Don't you wanna meet my siblings?
It's totally okay if you don't want to we could do it another day.'

I look down at my hospital gown and then back up at Andy. I can feel myself getting lost in his eyes.
Maybe meeting his family won't be so bad after all.

'No no its okay, I would love to meet your family.'

I smile and he stands up to walk over to me.

'I love your smile pretty one.'

And he kisses me on the cheek.
