Mates With A Rogue

Chapter 15

Andy's POV:

I couldn't believe the words that came out of my mouth, my pups  heartbeat... It's not there anymore. That stupid rogue stole the life of my unborn child, that stupid rogue has killed my pup.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sudden sobs from my mate, I need to remember it was her pup as well. I crouch down to her and pull her into my embrace, I had totally forgotten about the whole pack behind us. They were all still in their wolf forms but I could tell they were all waiting to see if their luna is okay. I look over to my mother's wolf and shake my head, scared to say the words yet again. She bowed her head down and my father knew why. He let out a mournful howl and soon the whole pack was howling with him, mourning for our loss.

I pick Brooke up in my arms and go running towards the pack house, I already knew the pack doctor was here with us so there was really no point. I just wanted to get out of the woods and back to the pack house knowing that people there would help us. Brooke nestled her head into my chest crying, it hurt knowing I couldn't  do anything to help her.

We were at the hospital waiting for the results from the pack doctor, Brooke hadn't stopped crying since we got here and it was unnerving. I was starting to lose my patience when Dr. Sebastion finally walked in with the results. Both me and Brooke looked up at her hopeful, maybe the pup wasn't dead but just severely injured.

'Alpha... Luna I'm sorry...'

Another wave of sobs escaped Brooke and I gripped her hand in mine, hoping to reassure her a little.

'Thank you Dr Sebastion, you are dismissed.'

The doctor nods and was about to leave but stopped as if he just remembered something. 

'The beta is here Alpha, do I let him in?'

A growl escapes from Brooke and I give her a look of confusion.

'Bring him in I need to talk to him.'

Brooke said and another growl escaped her, I didn't understand why she was so mad at Alistar. The doctor nodded before turning to leave, just as he left Alistar came flying through the door.

'Brooke are you okay?'

He sounded out of breath and seemed flustered.

'Don't call me Brooke, did you pray to the Moon Goddess or something that my baby was to die. Now you have your wish, my pup is dead and you didn't even care you was going to be an uncle, instead you went on a strop and could have hurt Cody. Don't come near me ever again, if you were my brother you would be happy for me not angry!!!'

Brooke stood up and stormed out of the room, making sure to hit Alistar on the way out. Me and Ali stare blankly at each other not understanding what just happened. Ali started to look hurt as he came to terms with what Brooke had said, he was about to go after her but I stopped him. 

'Ali I'll talk to her, I think you should just leave it for now.'

He nodded solemnly before making his way out of the hospital room and back home. The poor guy.
