Brooke's POV :

I was limping alongside Logan and Sapphire, both of them supporting me as we worked our way through the forest. I couldn't believe I was actually free. Andy had saved me from my nightmares. I felt so happy for once I could hardly contain it.
I wanted to run, I wanted to be home as soon as I could.
And that's exactly what I did.

I ran from Logan's and Sapphire's support and bounded deeper into the forest. It's like all of my injuries had suddenly disappeared and I had all the energy in the world. I stopped to look behind me, only to see two shocked looking werewolves looking back at me.

I gave them a wolfy grin and got into a play position, wagging my tail back and forth. They exchanged weary glances at each other before running up to me, excitement replacing all the worry that was present. As soon as they reached me I bounded further into the greenery, not knowing where I was going. But not really caring either.

I didn't feel like I had to be so careful around my new found family, they had come searching for me. This showed me they cared and wanted me alive. That was a good enough reason for me.

I saw a grey wolf dash past me, followed by a golden one. I chased after them, knowing that they knew the way to the pack lands. I had never really seen a golden wolf before, but the more I look at it the more it seemed to portray Sapphire's hair.

I soon caught up and they both looked at me surprised. I was guessing it was because of how I used to act, but my 'mother' must have knocked some sense into me. I must thank her for that.

I smell the pack lands, we are close.

My wolf said to me and this made me run even faster. I dashed ahead taking the lead once again, my tongue dangling out of my mouth. I stopped when I saw the pack house in the distance. Just as I was about to run again a small bark came from behind me. I turn, totally forgetting that Sapphire and Logan were even there.

I looked at them and bowed to apologise for being so eager. Logan smiled, well the corners of his mouth went upwards so I presumed he was smiling. Sapphire dropped something from her mouth and nudged them towards me, I soon realised they were a clean set of clothes. I did my doggy smile and picked them up in my mouth. I nodded at them and dashed behind a tree.

After I had gotten changed I came out from behind the tree and saw Sapphire and Logan waiting for me. As soon as they saw me Sapphire started crying and Logan had a relieved smile across his face. I felt hot tears trickle down my face as I rushed to give Sapphire a hug. My tears started to come down in buckets as soon as my arms wrapped around her body.

The forest was full of the sounds of our sobs. We stood here for a few minutes until an awkward cough came from Logan. We both laughed and Sapphire waltzed into his embrace. I smiled sweetly at them as I was reminded by Andy.

'Brooke should we head home?'

I smiled yet again at the thought of home.

'Of course.'

Logan smirked and Sapphire started walking towards the pack house.

'You had a lot of people worried here, we all thought we had lost our luna.'

Logan said and I smiled to myself. So people did see me as a luna.

***

We had reached the pack house and I let myself in. I wanted to see everyone. I had missed them  a lot more than I had expected, seeing as I had only met them for a hour.

'Guess who's home!'

Logan yelled, his voice echoing through the building.
Opal came out of the kitchen and her eyes widened as soon as she saw me, but they soon were full of fear.
I looked at her confused. Was she not happy to finally see me home?
