Chapter 11

Brooke's POV :

We had arrived at the pack house we were going to meet everybody. I felt like me and Andy were a little late as we had a tickle fight. It was more he got jealous about me going to the beach shirtless, which I was totally joking about. Totally.

Everyone was here and it was a good thing I made Andy change, all of his brothers were shirtless but I made sure not to look for too long.
I on the other hand felt like I had completely overdressed. Opal was wearing shorts and a bikini top whilst Sapphire wore shorts with a belly top.
'Guys is it alright if we wait second? I invited Landon so he should be here any minute.'

Benji said. One question entered my mind before anything else, and that was how old was Benji. I understood Cody wasn't old enough to find his mate, but was Benji?
It couldn't hurt to ask.

'Benji how old are you?'

He looked at me funny, probably wondering where on earth I was going with this question.

'I'm 19 why?'

'It was just I wondering to see if you had felt the mate pull yet.'

He looked down at his feet and I could tell he was getting uncomfortable. Before anyone could say anything else there was a young man standing in the door way. Benji's head instantly shot up and smiled over at the mystery person. Surely he had to be Landon if Benji was this excited.

'Hey Landon, we were just getting ready to go.'

Opal said before jumping to her feet. I guess I would never get the answer to my question.

We had arrived at the beach and all of the boys ran towards the water, all except Benji. It was like he was one of the girls, he sat with us as we all checked out our mates. Opal and Sapphire had finished introducing me to Iris, Zircon's mate, and Emilia, Peridot's mate. They were actually really cool and I knew we were going to be great friends.

We were all sunbathing until Iris whispered something to me.

'Don't you think Benji has been staring at Landon ALL day, or is it just me?'

I look up at Benji and instantly notice what she was on about. Benji hadn't spoken to us this whole time, his eyes had been transfixed on Landon.
I nod at her and we both giggle to each other.

'What are you two giggling at?'

Opal asks.

'Nothing just the fact that BENJI hasn't spoken to us this whole time.'

Iris begins to die next me and I couldn't help laughing myself. Soon all of us were rolling on the sand laughing and Benji just looks at us embarrassment filling his face.

'I-I didn't know what to say...'

He says, his face blushing even redder.

'Why don't you just join the boys then, they would love to have you play football with them?'

Opal and Sapphire begin to laugh even harder. Benji shot them a scowl before turning back to me.

'I don't like sports, never really have. Swimming I don't mind but I'd rather sit on the beach and relax.'

He smiled to himself as he laid down on his back. I shared glances with all of the girls before jumping to my feet.

'Well guess what?'

I say tugging at Benji's arm.

'Your playing football, and so are we.'

I grinned as the girls looked at me, giving me the look of 'that was not part of the plan'. I laughed at them and dragged Benji up.
