Change of heart

*He turned towards me and grinned, I glared*

(Hiccup P.O.V)

I glared as Drago took a few slow steps towards me. I stared up at the new alpha, waiting for commands. I needed to distract Drago." All this loss, for what? To become unstoppable?" I ask him in disbelief."To rule the world? Dragons, they are kind...Amazing creatures that can bring people together." I continue on. He grunts and fiddles with his shoulder."Or tear them apart" He says lowly, unhooking his arm and holding it out, showing the stump where his arm use to be. I visibly flinch."You see, I know what it is to love in fear  to see my village burnt, my family taken. But even as a boy, I was left with nothing, but...you. The last living hybrid, and the last Night Fury. That, that could give me everything.... Including, the world." He queries as he walked around me, and continues." I vowed to rise the fear above dragons, to liberate the people of this world" His gravely voice was rough and low as he spoke." Then why a dragon army." I ask, making sure to keep my distance as he continues to circle around me.  " Well you need dragons to conquer dragons" His voice raises the slightest as he spoke." Or maybe you need dragons to conquer people, to control those who follow you, and to get rid of those who won't" I say confidently with anger laced in my voice. He nods while looking around at all the destruction around us."Clever boy" Is all he says and turns back to me." The world wants peace, and we have that back on Berk...if you would let me show you.." I beg, trying to reason with him. "NO, Let me Show YOU!" He yells. He turns to the alpha and my eyes widen. I quickly morph and zoom off. Drago begins to scream and swing his staff over his head.

(Astrid P.O.V)

The alpha roars, capturing all the dragons attention. There eyes turn to slits as they fly in front if the alpha, bowing down, i land with the others, as soon as we all un-mount, the alpha roars again. Our dragons turn there heads, eyes slited. They all took off before we knew it."STROMFLY!" I shout as the others yell for there dragons. I see Hunter zooming across the smoke filled sky. Drago shouts and points his staff from the alpha, towards Hiccup. I'm about to scream, but it's to late, the alpha roars loudly, echoing through the mountain. Hunter roars and struggles to keep balance, then he plummet and crashed into the ground. Me and the rest if us run, but stop a few meters away from him. He whines and digs his nose into the ground, pawing at his head. Soon, his whole body jerks and he sits up, his head turning to the alpha. His eyes were slits and he showed no emotion."HUNTER!" Valka yelled as she tried to reach him but Stoic held her firmly. He didn't even acknowledged her as he flew next to Drago. He went to take off again but Drago pulled him down by his saddle, using his staff. He fell onto his stomach as Drago roughly mounted him, the head of his staff digging into Hunters neck. I watch with tearing eyes as Drago ordered the alpha then his men" WE HAVE THE HYBRID, NOTHING CAN STOP US NOW!!" He shouted triumphal as the armada cheers. The alpha roared again after Drago swung his staff, and dove back into the ocean and swam in the direction of Berk, the dragons following."GATHER THE MEN, AND MEET AT BERK!" He shouted before commanding Hunter to turn and they speed off, following the alpha. Tears blurred my vision as the small black speck disappeared. A large fleet following not far behind ."Hiccup..."Stoic murmured, barely manageable to hear. "What do we do now?" Heather asked glumly. Valka seemed to light up slightly." We need to go to Berk" She exclaimed determinedly, We all stared at her confused." Ummm, how? He took all the dragons" Tuff said, non-stupidly, which surprised us all. Valka smiled" Not all of them" she said with a smug tone.
Soon we stood by the riven, a group of baby dragons in front of us. Valka had a small smile on her face as we stared at the playful dragons."Ummmm...I'm confused" Tuff said as the babies ran around in small circles."Well theres a surprise"Heather muttered and we all laughed, which was surprising considering the condition we were in.
I struggled to contain the dragon,in held tightly around its neck as it ran around."Stay...still...you..little.....SHEBEAST!" I shout angrily, the dragon soon stops. I mount it but fall onto the other side. After a few more minutes of stuggling, I finally gain balance on the dragon"HAHA, SUCCESS!" I yell in victory. I turn to see, other than the adults, that I'm the only teen on the babies.
We flew roughly through the ice cavern. Gobber screamed as we flew. Valkas flew with her stomach flat against the dragons back, with a determent look on her face, Stoic struggled to stay on the baby."WE CANT FLY THESE THINGS!" Tuff yelled as the dragon crashed into the icy wall. FishLegs squealed in agreement." This.....is very.....DANGEROUS!" Gobber shouted in between the dragons dives." So....what's the plan!?" I asked loudly to Valka. She dodged a small icy pillar and looked back at me." We kick Dragos..." He began but was but off when a icy wall split is up for a minute. I large thick wall was revealed with a small crack going down the centre."...and that thing" Valka sighed as Gobber flew directly into the wall.

(General P.O.V)

A burly Viking laughed as he happily scratched his Gronkles stomach, the dragon lay on its back in pleasure, it's tongue lolling out. Then the dragon stopped and sat up, staring outside the door. It's eyes turned to slits as it began to fly out the door, knocking some furniture down."Hey were ya going? Watch it!" He shouted and ran outside. His eyes widen when at what he saw.

The group of terror looked up, eyes slits. They all flew of roughly, waking Gothi up. She groaned and walked steadily outside. She gasped and stared while eyed at what she saw.

The Vikings all gathered along the cliff line, staring in horror at the approaching fleet. A large, powerful dragon flew I front if them, the madman himself riding the magnificent beast."NIGHT FURY!" Some one shouted as the man laughed evilly."Berk is mine now!" Drago shouted while shaking his staff, the alpha coming up behind him"What about Stoic?" Someone asked. Drago simply grinned as the armada of dragon and warriors clashed with Berk.

(Astrid P.O.V)

Berk came into view, and we all gasped. The alpha stood on half of Berk, a large cyclone of dragons above. Chunks of ice was splattered everywhere. It was total chaos.
A familiar Night Fury was spotted flying, with a large burly man ontop, holding a metal staff. I scowled in anger and worry. " Distract the alpha, I'll get Hunter!" Valka shouted and flew off. Snotlout and the twins flew down by the alphas feet, and began to catapult sheep onto the dragons face."Black sheep baby!" Snotlout yelled as the sheep lands on the alphas nose, falling down and into the ground, caught by Tuff. The dragon Got ready to shoot ice but stopped when FishLegs blew the horn loudly. Me and Heather flew above its feet, shooing spines at its legs and below. The alpha roared angrily as we all flew to the safe area, along with the rest of Berk. We watched as Valka flew silently in front of  Hiccup. His eyes were slits, no thinner than paper. Drago grinned evilly although a loom of annoyance was visible in his face. "You certainly hard to get rid of dragon thief, I'll give you that." He exclaimed in a gravely voice."Hunter, it me son. I'm right here, please come back to us". Valka begged despartly, holding a hand in front of Hiccups nose. His eyes widen a bit before going thin again. "He's not yours anymore, he belongs to me now." Drago claimed, gesturing from Hunter to himself. I frowned in anger and worry."Please, come back. I love you, we all love you, need you. Please!" Valka continued to beg, ignoring Dragos comment. The alpha shifted from underneath them, eyes slitting. Hunter shook his head, eyes shifting from thin to wide. Soon his eyes were normal and he smiled happily at Valka with a gummy mouth" Yeah, thats it!" Valka yelled happily."IMPOSSIBLE!" Drago shouted and Hit the side of Hiccups head with his bullock, this made anger ignite through my body. Drago went to hit him again, but Hunter was having none of that. He grabbed the staff in between his teeth, pulling Drago off him. The man screamed as he plummeted it the ground. Valka quickly un-mounted and stood beside us. Hunter flew down, over the alpha. The dragon flicked its tail up. "Oh no.."
