I felt all giddy and bubbly. Hiccup was finally mine and I was his. I walked behind him while he fed the dragons, and wrapped my arms around his torso, Resting my hands on his flat stomach. He chuckled, "Morning m'ilady." He greets and I blush at the name, but decide to return the favour." Morning babe" I greet cheekily and grin when I see him blush. I rest my head between his shoulder blades, I then feel him shift suddenly. I look up to see his gorgeous face light up as if it was his birthday." Astrid...?" He asked and I mumbled in his back as a reply." Have you ever ridden a Night Fury before?" He asked and I peered over his shoulder to look at him, my attention now captured.
He morphed and stood in the cave opening. The rest if the gang had heard his offer and were waiting for there turn to fly on the unholy off spring if lighting and death it's self. He wiggled with excitement as I un-steadily mounted him. He had made a saddle for him when Valka use to ride him. It was pitch black, much like his scales,so it was out of site. I tightly held the grips on the saddle. He looked over his shoulder at me and I nodded to confirm I was ready-ish..."Have fun!" Heather shouted as Hiccup got ready to take off." DONT DIE!" Tuffnut yelled dumbly. Everyone glared at him and Ruff slugged him in the shoulder." Ouch! I'm hurt! I'm very much hurt!" Tuff said holding his arm to his chest. Hiccup opened his wings and crouched down, then took off in a blur. I screamed as he zoomed up into the clouds. He spun and and Barrel rolled down to the surface of the ocean before pulling up again. I continued to scream as he flipped and flew directly up before free falling backwards. He turned onto his stomach and balanced out, so we were gliding above the soft clouds. My screaming died down as I gasped in awe. I reached a hand up to run it through the clouds. They dissolved as my hand brushed them, I lifted both my had hands and laughed in joy. Hiccup smiled a gummy smile at me over his scaly shoulder. I laughed and stroked his head." This is amazing....your amazing" I said while lightly blushing. He crooned before diving down above the ocean. The water flicked up behind us as we approached the nest. He did one final flip before touching down. The group stood there in awe and exitment. " That was.....AWSOME," I shout like a little kid.
Heather went next, then Ruff, Tuff, FishLegs and Snotlout went last. He continued to scream the whole time. Ruff and a tuff both chanted'DESTRUCTION!' The whole time they had each gone flying. Heather laughed/screamed most of the time and FishLegs squealed for a while before he stayed silent and started at the view in awe, before screaming as they dive bombed. Hiccup morphed after he had touched down and Snotlout scrambled off." That was...." Heather began and they all began to shout different things.
Heather: AMAZING
Ruff:DANGEROUSLY AWSOME
Tuff:TOTALLY DESTRUCTIVE
FishLegs:ASTONISHING
Snotlout:TERRIFYING....(we all shot him a look)LY AWSOME...
I chuckled and Hiccup smiled." Let's go destroy stuff now!" Tuff and ruff yelled and Hiccup Laughed. " Hey Astrid, can we borrow your boyfriend for today" Ruff asked stupidly. I glared and hugged Hiccups torso." No, he's a person, you can't borrow him" I explained as dumb as I could so they could understand. They shrugged with disappointed looks on their faces. Just then Valka and the rest if the adults walked in, and Hiccup smiled." It's feeding time" she said and Hiccup immediately morphed and flew through the cave to the rest if the dragons. We all laughed at his enthusiasm.
Soon we had feed and were eating ourselves in the sanctuary. Hiccup was in his dragon form and was playing with Cloudjumper. Valka dropped a basket if fish for the two dragons, Cloudjumper ate it all before Hiccup could get any though. He sat back and pouted in his dragon form. We all laughed and Tuff threw a fish in the air. Hiccup retracted his teeth and snatched it from the air. Ruff and Tuff head bumped."AWSOME!" Ruff yelled and a ruff nodded in agreement. I threw him one as well as Heather. Hiccup morphed a little while later.
We were all sitting on the edge of the riven, looking at the alpha. Everyone was talking and laughing when all of a sudden the dragons stopped what they were doing and looked out the cave entrance, Hiccup did aswell. "Hiccup?" Valka asked and waved a hand I front of his face, but he didn't move. His eyes were slits, like all the other dragons including ours. The dragons shook there heads but stayed still. Hiccups eyes became normal and he shook his head and looked at us in confusion. "What?" He asked us dumbly. We all shrugged. I opened my mouth to talk but was cut off by multiple roars. The nest were flying out of the sanctuary.
We all ran to an icy porch and, much to our horror. We see a large fleet of ships docked against the sand. Multiple traps and thousands of men were on the ground."Drago..." Hiccup and Valka murmured. "They found us" Hiccup said aloud. "Run" Valka deadpanned while putting a hand on his shoulder." He wants you Hiccup, he'll try hurt you again" she begged him and pushed him away. He glanced at us once more before disappearing into the icy caves." What do we do?" Heather asked, with fear visible in her voice." Protect Hiccup, no matter what" Valka said as we mounted our dragons. We flew out, joining the nest in battle. The twins flew across along line of traps, gas leaking out of Ruffs dragon. I flew overhead and Stormfly lit it up."DRAGONS RIDER, COMING THROUGH!" Tuff yelled as Barf and Belch blew up several catapults.
