The following morning, I wake up with a smile on my face. Josh is still sleeping beside me, embracing me with one arm.  I look at the digital watch on my bedside table, it's 9:35 am.  While I was sleeping, I dreamed of Mitchell marrying a female robot that looked exactly like him. I let out a little giggle.

I hear Josh wake up and smiles as he turns closer to me and pulls a lock of my golden blonde hair behind my ear. "Good morning, beautiful! "he says.

I smile back and he kisses me. I  grab his hand and lace my fingers around his  as he laces his around mine.

"You know while I was sleeping, I dreamed of you,"he says as he gives a light kiss on top of my head.

I just widen my smile.

"Anyway, I'll go downstairs and make breakfast,"he says as he gets up and leaves the room.

I lay in bed a little while longer before I get up and go freshen up for the day.

After 20 minutes, I dress in a pair of black skinny jeans, a Vans white sleeveless T-shirt and my brown hiking boots. I go downstairs and into the kitchen when I see Josh has prepared a quite, um.. romantic breakfast.

"Come sit down," says Josh with a grin.

I sit down and see that in the middle of the table is a candle, omelets in porcelain plates. A minute later, Josh joins me.

"You know what I realized?" he says.

"What?"

"That I didn't take you on a proper first date."

A date? Me and Josh? Looks like the world is not so sad after all. I have a boyfriend, Austin is untouched by the Dark ones, it's peaceful and now he will be taking me on a date. Exciting.

"I thought you might like a nice picnic under the trees."he says.

"Oh, I love picnics!" I say.

He winks at me and says "I'm glad!"

Josh drives me this time in one of his most expensive Ferrari, to some kind of park, my guess is. We drive past the street where my house is. While we drive past, I catch a glimpse of Pamela's bedroom window. Pamela is laying in her bed altar, resting in peace.

Josh keeps telling me funny stories of his past life, one including how he always used to tape the bathroom sink's nozzle and when somebody turned the tap on, water would splash right at their face. Another one was about how he used to fill his teacher's water bottle with toilet water each time he was asked to fill it. I laugh. It's good to feel this way these days. Laughing.Happy. Loved.

In exchange for his hilarious life stories, I tell him about my times with Mitchell. When we played tag with the gravity turned off in my spaceship, when we went on crazy deserts rides in my Jeep, the time when Mitchell made me that wonderful 15th anniversary surprise.

"You sure are really good friends with Mitchell," he says after I finish.

"Yeah we are," I say.  I would've completely lost my sanity if I hadn't found Mitchell five years ago, I think.

We drive for another 10 minutes and we arrive, indeed , in a nice greenish park, covered under the trees. We climb out of the car and find ourselves a nice spot under the shadow of the trees,in a soothing atmosphere. Then we sit down on a nice red blanket and eat cheese sandwiches with coke. We drink from the same bottle, drinking from our own straw. The coke gives me a fuzzy feeling as I drink from my straw and I let out a little laugh. Josh stops drinking from his straw as he runs one hand through my hair and kisses me, both amused by the fizzy feeling we got from drinking that coke. My first date is going great.
