Words she said
To lift a weight
That's taken a toll
On her heart and mind
Not bad words No
Just pleads and complains

Travelling through thin air
Riding on the wind
Dancing everywhere
To their distention
The never reached
Why wouldn't they hear?

Words they said
Nasty and mean
Like a sharp blade
Or the head of a spear

In a war zone
A battlefield
A predator stalking it's prey
Her
She was a dear caught in headlights
With no way out
Bleeding
Screaming
Peircing through her skin
Burning in her mind
Helpless and unarmed
Their words finally
Reached
And got to her

Voices inside her head
She picked up
The music box her father bought
For her 7th year in this world
Coloring crimson red
Her brain now mush
They're finally gone
Her mind now in a hush
The voices are finally gone
