Cloudy Eyes

For the lack of the sun

In a sea of greys sails the heavy clouds

Heavy with weight and pain

Sad day it is

For the the deep dark looking sky

The gleam is turning as the pure colour fades

From here to here and here to there

A wispy cloudy haze

Travelling like a prisoner in a maze

The cloudy days somehow makes you know

People care

The cloudy sky in her father's eyes

Filled with terror and fright

Of losing one close to heart

Knowing that one day he'll be left behind

Makes him shake and there's no stopping it

No way at all

Cloudy eyes can no longer bear the weight

Rainy drops of salty tears

staining his prickly chin.

Eyes begging

'please don't cause me pain tonight'

'Please don't leave'
