CHAPTER 8 | NEXT DOOR ROOMIES

I had woken up late with my mom and her job got to her first so that's she couldn't wake me . While sleeping i just overheard her say something about someone needing some serious medical attention. I woke up remembering last night , i couldn't believe it . It had to be a dream , there's no way he and i live under the same roof . My room was pitch black thanks to my curtains . My face was building up to a blush .

I got to open the curtains and saw the beautiful sun shine bright on my face . I back away like a vampire as i had much of the darkness . I open the door sticking my head out looking from left to right , " coast is clear "i said to myself . Heading to the bathroom i brush my teeth and comb my hair . I got dressed and soon headed out the door , i got on a bus to see Mrs. Mavis . I had to get relocated , this was bad news if my mom finds out i went and had this job without telling her she'd be furious .
I went up to knock on her door right away she opened . That scared me , bit was she expecting me ?

" I had a feeling you were coming " smiled Mrs. Mavis

" Heh........so i came here to ask you a favor " i smiled

" Sure "

" May i be relocated ? "

" May i ask why ? "

" I just-........it pays good money but i just want a new unit to clean "

" Did you get involve with anyone of that unit ? Don't lie to me ! Did they fire you ?"

" No " i said putting on a firm face but coming out in a nervous tone .

" Ok , but it will take some time . You do know that your not getting paid till you start cleaning right " she said pulling out my files .

I thanked her and went on home . Even calling that place home gave me a silver chill . After a few weeks of getting to know the place i found out that the place has a basement. I got to know all the 12 boys and 4 girls plus Satome, my mother and i that's 7 women and girls . There was a tall good looking guy name Jackson , Erick , Maximum , Jason , Jacob , Josh , Hunter , Daniel, Peter, Percy, Kris , Brett and Jasmine, Lilly, Atria, Elisa, Ayr, Satome , Mom and finally Me . They all were pretty nice and i was warming up to them . They'd come and they go at first it seemed strange but it got pretty normal .

I wanted to tell Hayden but she already knows that i didn't have a home, To let her know that I'm living with my ex is pretty bad . I've been ignoring her for a few weeks now and i think she noticed . I got on the bus without calling her for a ride . I got to school opening my lock she was standing there nervously like someone who did something wrong .

" Where have you been for the last weeks ? Are you mad at me ? " asked Hayden as she froze with guilt

I stuttered and failed badly at what i did the only words that came out was " Fuck ....Brett.....Boy..........."

" What ?......okay never mind , just please talk to me . I know i haven't been hanging you around a lot and that's thanks to Liam but he's my boyfriend . I'm so sorry , I'm the worsted friend ever ! . "

Feeling guilty my mind already filling with regret my mouth had spilled " I'm living with Brett ! "

" I have never said this in history before but i will say it now due to this SITUATION but , SHUT UP ! no way ! How did you two start the fire ? Did you guys ........."

" No ! It's not what you think " I answered

" You know how my family has been struggling financially ? Found out that Satome the women who i cleaned the house for is my mom's very very far distant step cousin " i shrugged smiling

As we got more into the details i told Hayden how i was afraid Satome was going to tell my mother .

After school Hayden had surprise me with a soccer jersey in my name .

" Surprise!!!!!!!"

"Surprise indeed! Hayden whats this ? " i asked as i chuckled nervously

" You know how i told you how i haven't been spending time with you for the past weeks ? " she smiled as she handed me the jersey

" Hayden ? "

" Your on the soccer team ! I talked to coach and told him that i would teach you and im the best soooo......"
