Chapter 10 (tidbit)
I glared at the dust bunnies, cursing at them for existing. The broom swept across them harshly, as I worked angrily. The anger helped me stay awake, I couldn't help but bristle every time I thought about that old hag.
The psycho decided she would be personal wake up call from hell, slamming open my door while banging a spoon against a metal pot, then proceeding to dump the water inside the pot onto my bed, with me of course still being inside.
As if I couldn't figure out myself that it was time for work. It's not like I live at my employer's house or anything.
Oh wait. I do.
And now here I am, with my dignity still intact, even as I fling my now dirty and wet wig out of my eyes. The dust bunnies now being officially exterminated, I make my way over to the door, holding the dust pan carefully away from my body. As I reach for the door, it swoops out towards me. Screeching, I cover myself with my arms, forgetting about the pan.
The door makes a strong impact knocking me down to the floor, dust flying everywhere. Coughing, I wave my hand in the in hopes of dispelling some of the particles. When my coughing finally stops, and the air has cleared, I decide to look up, glaring through watery eyes.
Only to see Ashton smirking down at me.
It's safe to say I lose it.
"Are you f-cking serious!?"
