Phan - The Beginning

Chapter 4

My flat was only a short walk from the Nandos and after a walk around the corner we got there soon and I let us in with my key. I glance around, oh shit it's so messy, i think.

"Make yourself at home," i joke. Phil grins and sits on the edge of the sofa. I go to the kitchen to fix our drinks. "Coke please," Phil says. "You have a lot of video games." I can't help but smile and say "Yeah, i kinda have an addiction..." Phil walks over to the stack of games and has a look. "Sonic??" He beams. "Of course," Dan says.

A couple of hours later and Phil is kicking my butt at Sonic, and pretty much every other game of mine.

"Wow you are really good!" I exclaim with excitement and a mix of feelings for Phil I didn't know I had. "Yeah... I've had a lot of practise," Phil looks down. The silence is slightly awkward. I don't know what I am doing when I takes Phil's hands absent mindedly and start rubbing Phil's palms with my thumb. Phil looks surprised but happy, and he smiles at me.

Feeling embarrassed and a little bit awkward, I stand up and say "Well, it's getting pretty late, and I bet you're dying to know where you're sleeping." I was usually good at sarcasm... But I guess having a gorgeous male in your living room staying over wasn't the usual.

Phil looks at me, a bit forlorn, he kind of reminds me of a lost puppy, and replies, with a sigh, "um okay..." He follows me into the guest bedroom, it looked a bit embarrassing to be honest, the pathetic red flowers on the windowsill matching the red patches on my cheeks. The bed is nice enough, a simple single bed, I spend more money on myself as I barely have people staying over, so my bed is a double one, even though its not like people are dying to sleep with me.

I leave Phil to get ready for bed, and go to bed myself, even though i'm not exactly planning to go to sleep, probably go on tumblr until the early hours and then drop asleep, feeling depressed.  I feel a bit bad for being awkward with Phil, so i turn around and walk back to the bedroom.

"Hey phil?" I call out. Phil walks towards me with that god damn adorable look still on his face.  "do you need anything?" i add, it sounds stupid but i want to keep talking to him.  "Um, i'm not very good with sleeping in new places on my own..." he says.  My heart pounds as he looks from my eyes to my lips then back again.  I bite my lip then say...
