I spent twenty minutes trying to get the crap off of my shoulder before I gave up and decided to change out of my pajamas.
I grabbed a pair of track pants and a random shirt before heading back to the bathroom. Even though I had sworn off showering in the morning while I was in middle school, having that crap on my shoulder made me just feel disgusting.
"I call shower!" A voice rang through the house. Levi's smirking face came into view. "Or, you know, we could save water."
I sprinted in the separate part of the bathroom where the shower and toilet were and slammed the door behind me, "in your dreams!"
Levi's laughter was audible even through the door, "maybe in my dreams, but soon in reality."
"Then you better go find a girl who is even semi-attracted to that monstrosity you call a face to fulfill those dreams," I yelled through the door before turning on the shower.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~And since we know that dreams are dead
And life turns plans up on their head
I will plan to be a bum so I just might become someone
She asked me 'son when I grow old will you buy me a house of gold?
'And when your father turns to stone, will you take care of me?'
I will make you queen of everything you see
I'll put you on the map
I'll cure you of diseaseI belted out the lyrics to one of my favorite songs as I dried off and got dressed. The door swung open just as my hand landed on the knob.
"It was unlocked, had to restrain myself," Levi shoved past me and turned the water back on.
He turned around and looked at me, "unless you plan on getting back in, get out."
"You're so full of yourself," I flipped him off and walked out the door. "And I already know what you're going to say next so keep your mouth shut."
I didn't have to look at Levi to know that he had a smirk the size of Texas on his face.
My dad was sitting on my bed waiting for me when I walked in the room, comb in hand.
"How can I help you?" I said in a fake cheery voice.
"How do you like it?" He stood up and looked around. "It's a nice room. You don't seem to be as brooding as usual."
"You should probably wait until tomorrow afternoon to answer that question," I replied. The thought immediately brought down my mood, school. "But currently? Yes. My bed is very comfortable."
A smile formed on my dad's face, "that's good."
I went back to fighting to get a comb through my hair. Of all things why did it have to be thick and curly?
"I know you are going to hate to hear this, but Meg wants you to go with her when she picks out her dress."
"Great," I muttered sarcastically through a curtain of tangly hair. "Dresses. Yay. Meg said that you two had to meet with a planner or something, when will you be back?"
"Sometime around ten," he answered. "Why? Planning to throw a wild party."
"You're funny," I retorted. "No I was wondering how much time I would have to be alone with him."
"Leila," my dad warned.
"Could you please leave, I need to get changed." I walked into my closet to add emphasis to the statement.
He sighs and shakes his head before leaving.
I waited until the sound of footsteps on the stairs faded before I collapsed on my bed. It was very comfortable. I couldn't deny it.
The sound of slow claps filled my ears, "nice job on getting him out." I raised my head to see Levi's face.
"Oh," I acted surprised. "It's just you,"
"So," he dragged out the word, brushing off my insult.
"Out!" I yelled, not even waiting for him to speak. I waited until I heard the sound of the door closing before climbing under the covers and closing my eyes. It actually didn't smell that bad.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Growling. It's what my stomach was doing when I woke up and what I would start doing if anything got in the way food.
"Food," I groaned.
The shaking, as if someone was laughing. That got my attention. My head snapped up, trying to find the source of the shaking.
"I was starting to think that I would have to push you off the bed," Levi sat up and smirked at me.
"What the hell do you think that you're doing?" I spat.
"Something my mother wanted us to do. The called it 'bonding'"
"Get your ass out because I know you don't have to be in my bed to do your so called 'bonding'"
"I'm comfortable."
"Get out."
"Make me."
I raised an eyebrow, "are you sure you want to do that again?"
Levi thought for a minute, "well."
Suddenly, the world was turned upside down and I found myself in the air.
"Put me down!" I screeched, pounding on Levi's back. "Miller, you better put me down right now or I'll-"
"You'll what? There's not much you can do."
I tried to kick him in the face, it would've been pretty sick if it had succeeded. Unfortunately for me, he was smart and held my feet down.
"Put me down," I demanded.
"Nope," he said, popping the p.
Drastic times call for drastic measures. And I had to take matters into my own hands. I leaned over and bit his arm as hard as I could.
Levi immediately responded, dropping me and grabbing at his own arm. "What the hell?"
I grinned evilly before running into the kitchen. I glanced over my shoulder, expecting him to come after me, but he just stood there, inspecting his arm.
A sandwich and chips later, I found myself looking for the room with the PS3. Assassins Creed was calling my name. I could remember it was in the basement, but how to get there, it was long gone.
So, once again, I resorted to wandering.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~So here's the fourth chapter it took me longer than I wanted because I there were a few parts where I could take it in multiple directions. But I got it out and I currently like how it is, hopefully you will too.
Any feedback will help, no matter how rude. That stuff won't really bother me in this fanfic because it's more for fun than usual.
As a dance teacher of mine once said,
"size and beauty don't matter if you can't get your job done."
