You were a child when we first met,
Helpless and alone,
But holding a power I couldn't forget,
And soon that power had grown.I knew what you were destined to do,
Yet still I helped you to escape.
I saw something of myself in you,
And that was my mistake.I should have killed you back in the past,
To prevent the cruel fate,
It was Arthur then, who killed you at last,
But it was already too late.I blame myself for not letting you die,
And even more for not letting you flee,
You loved her, so you had to try,
But I was too blind to see.We both were guided by our heart,
The path of decisions was long,
So many things have played their part,
I know trusting you was wrong.
- And so was to trust you not.You fought with magic, loyalty and love,
I've always done the same,
The darkening sky above
Watched us play our game.
- While destiny wrote its plot.Standing on the brink of death,
When your glorious moment is past,
Breathing smiling your last breath -
I wondered which thought was your last.Surprise, recognition, hatred, relief,
The smile of a fulfilled destiny,
The satisfaction of getting what you longed to achieve,
Or the smile of a lost victory.Maybe you thought of how everything began
And laughed at the way things came to an end,
Killing and being killed by a friend.
