I was closing my eyes waiting for the impact but nothing happened. I opened my eyes and I saw a boy. He had spiky blonde hair and he was wearing a red sweatshirt.
"Hey." he said with a smile.
"I'm Justin." He said.
"I uh.." I stammered.
"I'm sorry if we startled you, my little brother Bars and I were just---"
"Brother?" I blurted out.
"Yeah, he's over there." He says while pointing to a boy that looked 10 years old. He waved an smiled.
He was wearing a Christ necklace that looked beautiful. I wanted it.
"Nice necklace." I say.
"Thank you!" Bars said.
"My mom gave it to me after they died it's the only thing I can remember her by." Bars said looking down.
Oops.. Sorry for bringing that up.. I thought.
"Wow, nice treehouse!" Justin said changing the subject.
"Oh, you like it? It's not finished yet."
"Can we help finish it?" Bars asked.
"Sure, I just need help with the roof that's all."
As we all climbed the tree I saw the same squirrel again. Knowing it was the reason I fell off of a treehouse, I ignored it.
"Ouch.." I heard Justin mumble.
I walked in the treehouse and I saw that Justin had something in his cheek. He looked hurt.
Bars was laughing at Justin. His laugh was so unique that I had to laugh too. Soon, Justin was laughing too.
"Is someone going to help me, though." Justin said concerned.
"Oh yeah." Bars and I said almost at the same time.
Bars grabbed Justin's arm and I grabbed the splinter that was in his cheek.
"Okay, ready Bars." I say.
He nods.
"3..2..1.."
We both pull and the splinter comes out.
"Well that was easy." Bars says.
"So where did you guys come from." I said.
Bars face turned beet red and looked at Justin. Justin stood up and said, "I'm going to go and get some stuff. Come on Bars."
"Hmm." I said to myself.
I looked out the window and saw Justin and Bars talking. I could here them clearly.
"We can't tell her." I heard Justin say.
"But she is a person who we can trust." Bars said.
"She's a random girl. We can't trust that." Justin said.
"You can tell me that." I said
They both jumped and stared at me.
"Umm.. Hi, I think you should know that I ran away too, and this random girl has a name. It's Sierra thanks for asking."
They didn't say anything they just stared. I rolled my eyes and lay down angry at them.
"Pfft.. Random girl who do they think they are." I thought to myself.
