I looked out my door and it was an actual man cutting down the tree with an axe. Justin looked out the door and his face got so red.
"Hey, you!" He said pointing at him.
The man looked up, he had bright blue eyes and his face was filthy.
"There's obviously people up here, so you should drop your axe and give up." Justin screamed.
The man stared, he looked confused, he then kept cutting the tree down. That's when Justin thought that the man was ignoring him. He began to go down the tree but I stopped him.
"Hey. He has an axe." I whispered.
"He is going to kill us if we don't do anything and we won't have a place to stay." Justin said in my face.
I took a deep breath and I grabbed Bars' hand and we climbed down the tree. When we got down the man gave us a squint, this didn't make Justin happy.
"What are you kids doing in the woods?" The man asked.
"Hey! I'll ask the questions. Lets see. What are you doing in the woods, cutting down tree?! There is obviously a treehouse up there! Justin shouted.
"What? Oh my apologies, I am a deaf lumberjack named Tom.
"Do you have a pen? Justin asked.
"Oh, I do." Tom said with a smile.
Digging through his pocket he found a pen and handed it to Justin. Justin didn't say thank you though. He grabbed my arm and writ something. It didn't hurt though. Justin showed Tom my arm and Tom squinted and looked at it.
"Sorry. I don't know how to read. He said frowning.
"Just don't mess with our tree." Justin mumbled.
We climbed back up our tree and ate a pancake.

Chop! Chop! Chop! We heard another sound. The same sound as Tom's axe. We all looked outside and there was Tom again chopping down our tree. I looked at Justin, he was sighing.
"How long does it take to cut down a tree?" I asked.
"I don't know." Justin groaned.
We all went out of the treehouse to climb down but it was too late. The tree was going down and I couldn't stop it. I saw Justin trip on a branch and falling. This was all to handle. I saw Bars and looked him in the eyes.
"Are you ready?" I asked.
"Yes."
The tree falling was like a terrible roller coaster that never stopped. The tree hit the ground and so did we. I hit my head on something and I couldn't move. I looked up, took a deep breath and closed my eyes.
"Hey." I heard Bars say.
"What? How are you alive?" I asked
"I don't know what I hit, but it seemed super soft." Bars said nodding.
Suddenly his face turned into a sad look.
"Where's Justin? Is he gone? Do you know where he is?" Bars asked.
"I don't know. I don't know if he is gone or not. And no I do not." I said looking for him.
"Wait, what's that?" Bars said pointing to something.
I looked to where his finger was pointing and it was Tom. I couldn't believe he would ever show his face here ever again. I walked up over to him but as I did it I dropped over something. I turned around and it was a hand, Justin's hand. He was under some debris caused by the tree falling. I quickly dug to find him with Bars' help.
After a few minutes we finally found him. I found out that he was breathing. I kept repeating his name over and over again so he could wake up. He finally woke up.
"Finally." I said.
When he saw the bump on my forehead he went nuts.
"Where's Tom?! He is going to pay." Justin screamed.
"It's fine, Justin it doesn't hurt that much and we can rebuild a new treehouse." I said calmly.
But I didn't think it worked because he got up and started looking for him. I thought he was completely insane but he just wants to protect me and Bars so I just didn't say anything.
"Is anyone else getting the feeling that we're being watched." Bars blurted out.
