I looked at Ross while the tears rolled down his eyes. After his story I knew, we could never be together. But just enough to do this. "Ross..." I lifted his face. We took in each other, making it beautiful as long as it can last. Then the microwave beeped and I knew the moment was gone. I slipped away and grabbed the popcorn. Ross grabbed the drinks from the counter. As soon as Max entered the kitchen, Ross walked right out, making sure Max didn't see the tears in his eyes.

I opened the popcorn bags pouring it into several plastic bowls. Max grabbed a drink from the cooler and then came behind. I was nervous because I didn't know if he was listening to our conversation like he did previously in the week. It seemed like he didn't. He peered over my shoulder. "What you doing?" He stood next to me. I smiled and grabbed the next popcorn bag. "Making and pouring popcorn for the crew." He smiled and raised an eyebrow. "Oh, so we're the crew now, huh?" I turned around and threw the empty popcorn bag in the garbage. "Let's go back out." I said grabbing the bowls. He nodded. "Let's go."

After the movie, we celebrated my welcoming. The party took a whole new level. TimTim passed out on the couch and Red was drunk as hell. Hours later, the girls wanted snacks so I went to the kitchen for some chips. I didn't notice Max follow me in. I bent down to grab chips from the lower cabinet. I was tired and just wanted to lay down. While I was finding the chips, Max asked, "Have you ever had a boyfriend?" I shook my head. "Well, not a real relationship. I had flings but not a real love relationship where the guys actually cared about me." I can feel Max's eyes on me. "Huh." He thought for a second. I shook my head and stood up. When I turned back around Max grabbed me by the waist. I looked at his arms and glanced at him. His soft eyes stared at me. "I may not be the best guy around but I can treat you the way others can't." My heart was racing. I was looking for a place to run or a place to defend myself, but he kept me in a grip. "I'm sorry I haven't really payed attention to you as much lately." I looked at him. "You've helped me around work and the neighborhood all week. How could you get any more attention than that?" He laughed. I stared at the cabinet then slowly looked up at him. His eyes were enchanting and made me realize he's hot in his own way. We stared at each other and a moment started. "Moments like this shouldn't be wasted." He said in a low tone. I nodded. "They shouldn't." I had several drinks and zero glasses of water. I didn't know what to do but I was thinking exactly what he was thinking. Suddenly, I smiled. "Then let's not waste this moment." He grinned and grabbed me. I closed my eyes and kissed him endlessly. When I did, there was no feeling in the world. It was just me and him. He started to make out with me and grabbed my butt several times. After a while, I released from him and looked at my watch. "It's getting late." He looked at me. "You need a ride home?" I looked up and grinned.

I opened the door after several attempts. Max laughed and I pulled him in. He closed the door and we started making out. I couldn't remember anything. All I knew was that this was Max and he was hot. We started going at it on the bed and I just let him. My thoughts were bundled up. I thought of Adam and Alesa and Shelby and Jess and Jason and TimTim and Red and Barney. And especially Max. Max was currently taking off my clothes and, again, I let him. Everything and everyone was on my mind the rest of the night. Everyone... except Ross.
