Chapter 6 - Waking Up

My eye's felt heavy and i could feel pain in my arms i opened my eyes slightly and saw white ceiling's i moved my head around the wall were plain green i caught the huge window an the view of Charleston was breathtaking it looked like i was in a hospital room i looked down at my hand as i felt someone holding it, Luke was lying his head on my bed holding my hand i noticed the IV in my arm i looked around the room again and saw the boys sleeping uncomfortable on the chairs around my room they all looked exhausted without waking them up i pressed the button for a nurse and waited. After a few minutes of waiting a man in a white coat with silver hair and glasses came in he saw me awake i put my finger to my mouth and told him to be quiet with my hands his face saw the boys and he smiled he came towards me and held out a notepad and pen "hi Jacelynn my name is Dr Roberts How are you feeling sweetie" i took the paper "my arm's and legs and stomach is saw How long i have been here" he took the paper and looked "not long a day at the most your case worker is outside with Mr Blackbourne we would like to talk to you" i nodded my head he moved to the door and opened it Kelly came straight to me i saw the tears in her eyes "i'm okay don't cry Kelly i'll be okay" i wrote down and showed her "darling you don't need to be strong all the time i'm sorry for putting you there in the first place but i have been speaking to Mr Blackbourne and we have decided that you are going to live with him and Dr Green" my eyes widened and my body began to shake "sshh Miss Jacelynn we are not going to hurt you i promise you will stay with us until your 18 then you can leave you will continue school and have your own room now you will be in here for a week or two then we will take you home What is your favourite colour?"  i looked at him i saw the truth they won't me i wrote down "pink and black" he gave me small smile "okay Miss Kelly i'll escort you out" "be good sweetie i have someone send over your cushion's they be safe at your new home" i smiled and let a tear fall my cushions were the only thing that i had of Ollie his adoptive parents would send me an old t-shirt every month and Kelly would make a cushion out of it for me. i saw the boys starting to stir North opened his eyes and stared at me he realized i was awake and ran toward the bed "jacey baby how are you feeling do you need anything" i shook my head and wrote down "can you give me a hug" he looked down and smiled "i'll be honoured" be bent over and gently hugged me the rest of the boys made there way over and hugged me Luke kissed my forehead "you scared us cupcake" i smiled weakly at them. i wrote on my paper "i'm sorry" "Don't ever be sorry Aggle its not your fault never was"
