I woke up early on Sunday morning. I didn't have to leave for Harry's place until ten, but I couldn't sleep.

Harry was into hiking like me, so we often hiked together, but today was going to be different. We were hiking a trail that barely anyone knew about, but some of Harry's friends told him about it and apparently it has the most gorgeous views. It was about an eight hour drive north of Melbourne, so we were driving up on the Sunday, and hiking for the next three days. I've seen photos of this trail countless times but I never knew exactly where it was, and I was beyond excited to be finally hiking it.

I swear the clock was going backwards, but it eventually got to ten o'clock and I went to Harry's. "You're almost more excited then I am," I greeted him as he bounded out of the front door. The grin on his face was ear to ear and he was happier than I'd ever seen him. Not that he was a gloomy person, but he was currently behaving like a five year old on Christmas morning.

"I am more excited than you," he told me.

I shrugged. "So, have you got any good cereals?" I asked with a grin, knowing full well he wouldn't. He, like Madeline was all for eating healthy, although he didn't take it as far as Madeline did. Mad would never eat any processed food or any of that 'unhealthy crap'. Harry occasionally will have a pizza or something with me but for the most part he leaves the junk food to me and the others. It's not that I was unhealthy or overweight, because the amount of hiking I did balanced out the amount of delicious, sugary cereal I ate.

"I've got some great tasting oats with dried berries," he said, and I stuck my tongue at him.

"Okay, so if we get on the road in the next half an hour or so, we should get there by seven tonight," he says, staring at the map on his phone.

"Sounds great! Have we got enough snacks?"

Harry rolled his eyes at me. "Always thinking about her stomach."

"But of course."

Now I love road trips as much as the next person, but four hours of sitting on my bum was too much. "We need a break," I announced as we sped past a sign for a roadside stop with a McDonalds.

"Well, there's a stop coming up soon."

"I know. They have McDonalds."

He snorted, but turned off at the exit.

We walked in and I got a burger which was the most beautiful burger I've ever had. I mean, it was probably just your average McChicken but I hadn't eaten proper food in ages. Harry had a salad from the place next to the McDonalds, and we stopped for half an hour to eat and pee and stretch our legs. We sat down at a table next to the bathrooms, because it was the only table that wasn't coated in crumbs and questionable sticky marks. Once I'd finished the deliciousness that was the burger, I quickly checked my phone. There was a text from Madeline, and I quickly opened it, then snorted.

"What's so funny?" Harry asked. I showed him the text, which basically said Kate! I'm on a date with a guy who was three nipples! I wish you could see them, ahaha, it's so funny. It's kind of hot. And he's a solid nine!

Harry laughed, and then read it again. " A nine?" He asked.

"Yeah, you know." Harry looked at me blankly. "Okay, you don't know. If you were rating a guy out of ten, based purely on looks, Mr. Three nips would be a nine. In Madeline's opinion, anyway. But she usually has pretty good judgement."

"So what would I be, out of ten?" Harry asked with a chuckle.

I could feel myself blush a bit, but I hid it with a smirk. "I don't know, what would I be?"
