My hair flowed like a river
And down it flowed
From mountains and hills
Through valleys and stills
It watered the plants
And nourished the wild
Like crystals and jewels
Like beads and pearls
But slowly and surely
I found it cost
The treatment or hair
I had to choose
And so the river was drained
Not a drop was left
A severe drought and famine
Was what was caused
I realized too late
That it didn't help my fate
If I had at least chosen wisely
I could have died happily
