Jakes POV:
Why did Mel just run off like that? Does she not understand how long it took me to build up the courage and confidence to confess my feelings for her? I sighed ruffling my hair, I was devastated. That was not what I was expecting. Steven lightly tapped my back, trying to be comfortive.
" Jake don't take no as a final immediate answer. " Erin said trying to help.
" but she just ran off" I pouted.
" honestly, Mel was probably just apalled. I mean I doubt she was expecting this right at that very moment. " Mary added.
" go home and rest, eat some ice cream kiddo. " said Steven.
I nodded.
" he's not a girl Steven " commented agatha.
I chuckled.
" so why does it matter it still helps even if you're a boy. " replied Steven.
" hold up, how would you know it helps?" questioned Brianna.
" well, when Mary got pissed at me cause of Jen, I felt depressed and ate ice cream. Helps a bit. " confessed Steven.
" you're a weird dude. " said Colin.
I went home leaving their hilarious conversation. And thts my best friend right there , steven.
Marys POV:
" I-iiii feel something so wrong doing the right thing. " I sang counting stars by one republic.
"everything that kills me makes me feel alive. " added Steven.
" KARAOKE TIME BITCHES!!" shouted agatha.
" naw man not feeling it. " said everybody.
" chu betches" she mumbled.
" yes Steven. "
" yes what?"
" I am willing to try a long distance relationship with you. "
His ice blue eyes glistened,
" I love you " he said coming closer.
Millions of thoughts collided in my mind. That was the first time he exchanged an I love you to me. I grinned, hugging him.
" I love you too".
Agatha blasted the radio. She ruined the beautiful moment. Adele was on the radio. Her song someone like you was being played. Brianna loves Adele and her music. So she burst out into song.
We all laughed while she sang. Don't get me wrong, she's good at singing. But her boyfriend Colin certainly isn't.
