Chapter 7: College Acceptances
Mel's POV:
My mom brought me breakfast in bed. What was this all for? She brought me range juice, a sandwich, eggs and bacon, and a waffle.
" what's this for?"
" don't you know?" she asked.
" no ?" I answered dumbfounded.
" you got accepted into Yale!" she exclaimed.
" no way no way no way!" I jumped from my bed hugging my mother with joy.
Steven's POV:
I woke up from my sleep. Last night was really fun. I went downstairs and noticed my sister wasn't up yet. I went into her room. Then, I slowly tip toed out of her room.
I went back downstairs and took some whip cream out of the fridge. I went back upstairs and back into Ally's room. I sprayed some whipped cream onto her face. Then I tickled her. She woke up and noticed her face was sticky.
She got up from her bed sheets and started to run after me.
" come and give your little sissy a kiss!" she ran.
" noooo"
She caught me from behind and smashed the whipped cream can on my head.
" stupid boys. " she said.
Ow. That actually hurt. I freshened up and put a bag of ice on the spot where ally hit me. The bruise swelled back down and wasn't noticable.
I walked outside and checked the mail. I opened all of the acceptances from ivy league universities. Sigh, sorry universities, Yale already has me.
My phone started to ring,
" hello?"
"steven!" shouted Mary from the other line.
" what?" I asked her worried.
" I GOT INTO PRINCETON"
" oh my goodness, I'm so proud of you! When's orientation?" I asked.
" September. "
" well my sister is annoying me so I will talk to you later. " I hung up.
Mary's POV:
I went downstairs not caring that I was in my pajamas. I was wearing my favorite pajamas, chocolate pajamas. I went out to the porch and checked the mail.
There was one letter from Yale and there was one letter from Princeton. First, I opened up the letter from Yale. I wasn't accepted. I was bummed out but, it was okay.
Next, I nervously opened the letter from Princeton. I GOT ACCEPTED! Immediately, I called Steven to tell him the great news.
Erin's POV:
"Erin here's some mail that came in for you today. " said my sister Sharon handing me the letters.
All of the mail were from universities, I was very hesitant opening them. I opened the letters from NYU and Boston University. I was appalled, I got accepted into both. Now came the hard part, choosing which one to go to...
Joshua's POV:
I was overall happy today. I got accepted into Yale.
I texted Steven :
" guess what?!"

New Haven, Conneticut here I come!
Brianna's POV:
I got into Boston, I was going to have to go long distance. I don't know how to tell Colin. This was going to be so hard. Sigh.
Colin's POV:
Of course, just how I thought I only got accepted into BCC. I'm so ashamed.
Agatha's POV:
Amir and I both got accepted into Rutgers. Thank goodness we won't have to go through the long distance relationship stuff. Parties here we come!!
