Marys POV:
My heart started beating. My feet kept pacing. My mind kept fading. I was very nervous for Mr. Capcin to call my name and hand me my diploma. Was my hair going to go out of place? Would I fall from wearing black pumps? Would I knock down the balloons? I am a klutz anywa-
" next on the smart board is a baby picture of Mary Mackins, Mary Mackins please come up to the stage to receive your well deserved and achieved honor diploma."
My heart started to beat as fast as it would beat after a mile run.
I walked up and shook hands with the principal I would never have to see again. He handed me my diploma and gestured me to go up to the podium and give a few words about my high school experience.
" my high school experience was just like anybody elses. Some friends left, some friends stayed, I went through heartbreaks, I went through drama, and I went through not doing well in subjects -"
"overall, all of that has been worth it. I matured throughout my high school experience. I grew up and became an adult who is going to go off to college and start a life, just like all my fellow class of 2013 mates. Thank you all teachers, faculty, and especially my wonderful parents for being supportive through everything"
I went and sat back in my seat. That was definitely not a few sentences. I shook my head in disappointment. I sighed and put my hair behind my ear, I have embarrassed myself once again. The rest of the names were read, speeches were given, and we were now allowed to go and leave.
" Mary" my older brothers yelled.
Oh my fucking god they seriously cant be doing this right now. Steven walked toward me and kissed me on my cheek, in front of my family. He is seriously not smart with these things.
" awhh you guys are so cute!" my brothers chanted.
My family took pictures with me, I took pictures with agatha, Erin, Mel, brianna as well, and lastly, my brothers didn't leave me alone until they got a picture with Steven and I.
" see I told you you guys would end up together!" said Matt.
Finally, Steven and I left our families and went on to our friend groups.
" Mary you said way more than three sentences. " said Jake.
" I know stupid " I replied.
" agatha you look beautiful" said Amir.
Suddenly, they emerged into a really long kiss,
" we understand you guys love each other okay stop fucking kissing" retorted mel.
They separated and we all started laughing. Hey it's my turn to revenge back at agatha now.
" AMIR STOP RAPING MY POOR BABY! LIKE HOLY SHIT" I shouted.
Erin held up her hand, " high five!"
" hey have you guys seen Colin and Brianna?" I wondered.
Everybody nodded their heads to a no. I dialed briannas cell phone number and all I heard were tears and then she hung up on me. Why was she crying? I got a text from her,
I didn't get into Yale.
it read. Steven read it over my hand and pouted as well did I.
" that's so sad guys" said Steven.
" by the way Steven, did you ever get into Yale?" asked Jake.
" yeah you never told us" remarked Erin.
" you guys just ruined everything.." mumbled Steven.
" why ?" I said
" I was going to tell you at the after party/dinner tonight. I have bad news. " sighed Steven ruffling his hair.
" I already know what you are going to say.." I started to tear up.
" I know you guys don't want a long distance relationship, but I still think it's worth trying" said agatha trying to comfort us.

I really don't know where I am going with this. I'm just going with the flow and writing as I go lmao. Well I hope you guys like it so far. Sort of a cliff hanger, well not really, i don't know haha.
