Is it safe to say that my life just fell apart? Is it safe to say that i feel betrayed? Is it safe to say that the one's I called family.... Aren't actually family?

Jim, Jim, Jim.

That name keeps appearing like a mantra in my head, he taught me everything I know, after everything I've done for him how could he want me dead?

How could he?

I handed the iPad to the confused Nurse and grabbed my phone from the night stand.

When i found Jims number i dialed and brought the phone to my ear, I listened to the ring tone as i waited for him to pick up.

"Hey buddy, Joe told me you were in hospital because someone tried to kill you, when you find out you better tell me who so i can show them who's friends ther"

"Jim shut it, i know you sent him on me, just tell me why, i thought we were friends" he was quiet for a second before answering.

"Issac i have no idea what you're talking about"

"Oh don't play dumb with me, he's out in the corridor now he told me it was you who hired him, so tell me why did you hire someone to kill me?"

Dial tone!

"Son of a bitch hung up on me, i can't believe it" i slammed my phone on the bed side table and looked at the nurse that was looking down at her ipad with wide eyes.

"What? What's happening?" I asked, she came back over and handed me the device i watched at Joe and the mysterious man faught.

"What happened to there guns?" I asked the lady.

"While you were on the phone you're friend told him if he wanted to end it to fight like a man with out wepons the man agreed and they put there guns away and started fighting"

We watched as Joe and the man were evenly matched in their fighting, i put the ipad down and moved the blanket.

"Help me up" i asked her eyes widened in disbelief.

"You friend told us that we had to stay here not to mention you're injured"

"I never really did what he says so it doesn't matter what he says and I'm fine" she reluctantly helped me to my feet and walked me to the door.

"Alright stay here I'll go out and distract the man so Joe can get the upper hand" i left the room and walked in the direction of the fighting, the whole way there i was leaning against the wall in pain.

Shit maybe I should have stayed in bed, when i finally made it to the men they were standing there facing each other in what looks like a stand off.

"HEY" both men turned to face me, Joe with wide eye and the stranger frowning.

"I believe you're looking for me, well here i am"

"Excuse me?" The mystery man asked.

"I'm Issac Patterson, the man you tried to kill, that man there is my partner, so you want me? Come get me" the man growled before walking towards me completely forgetting about Joe.

Big mistake!

Joe stepped forward behind the man and pulled him into a head lock.

"What the hell are you doing out of bed, you're injured" Joe growled at me.
