BOOM! Last chapter! In all seriousness Joe wasn't ment to get shot, Issac was but what can i say when the fingers get writing who knows where the story will go.

Issac's POV...
Two months later and Joe hasn't made any progress of getting better, he was declared dead for 4 hole minutes when the day he was shot but the doctors managed to just save him in time, i go and visit him everyday and read a book to him whether his listening or not is another story.
As each day passes my hope that he will wake slips away, I've prayed every night i done everything in my power to to have him wake up but to no vail.
I've thought about pulling the plug but then I think no he's going to wake up, i know he will.... He has to.
"Issac are you ready?" I looked up from my picture of Joe and i that i took when he wasn't looking, Jason stood at me bedroom door holding my car keys.
"It's time to go see Joe" he said, i nodded standing up from my bed and leaving with him, Rick, Jason and I hopped into my car and drove to the hospital in silence, unfortunately since Joe was shot it's been like that car rides are always quiet even Jason refuses to talk.
When we got to the hospital we went straight to his room and let ourselves in, Rick and Jason said hello to Joe before going to sit on the two person couch, I stepped forward and took Joes hand in mine.
"Good morning Joe, I brought a new book with me today" i said pulling a chair up, as i was about to read the first sentence I heard something that stopped my heart for a split second.
"Issac?" Rick, Jason and I jumped to out feet at once when we heard Joe say my name.
"Holy shit, Joe? Oh my god you're awake, thank god, Jason quick go get a doctor" i said pointing to the door Jason nodded excitedly running out the door screaming down the hallway.
"I NEED A DOCTOR NOW" i shook my head at his over dramatic nature.
"It's good to see you awake Joe, you scared us all" Rick said to Joe.
"Sorry sir, i mean Rick" Joe whispered, he turned to look up at me and a small smile appeared on his face.
"I guess i missed our date huh?" He asked making me laugh as tears rolled down my face.
"It's okay, I'm sure we can reschedule, how are you feeling?"
"I'm okay, a little sore but good"
The door opened and in walked Jason with a doctor.
"Ahh Mr Davids you're awake I'm so glad, we thought you weren't gonna wake up, how do you feel on a scale of one to ten, one being good and ten being painfull"
"A four"
"Thats good it means you're body did most of its healing while you were in a coma, now I'm going to get you to start on fluids for a couple of days then we will see about solid food"
"That's fine" Joe said, the doctor left to organise for some drinks to be brought in.
"The weeks past and Joe was healing nicely he could now breath on his own and he no longer needed a drip in his arm, as for his eating, hes able to eat soups with a few bits of solids in it so thats good it's better then what the doctors expected from him.
The doctor also informed us that joe can be released in a few days which I'm extatic about, I've missed holding him and just genuinely having him around the house.
"So how are you feeling today Joe?" I asked kneeling against his bed.
"I'm alright, nothing I couldn't handle" he said smiling.
"Yeah it's not like you were shot or anything" i said laughing making him laugh.
"I've missed kissing you" i said out of the blue because well it's true I've missed the contact between us.
"Well I'm right here what's stopping you?" He asked, i blushed as i stood up and leaned in towards him, our lips touched and it was like fire works went off at the touch.
"God I've missed that" i said as i pulled back.
"I love you Issac"
"I love you too Joe"
We sat there talking for a little longer before Rick and Jason arrived so i knew it was now or never to ask.
"Guys shh i need to say something or ask something whatever" I cleared my throat then turned to Joe.
"Joe, you almost dying made me realize just how much I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you, so that being said, Joe Davids will you do my the extraordinary honour of marrying me?" I asked holding out a ring that I bought a few days ago, Joe's eyes widened in shock same goes for Jason and Rick, they didn't even know i was planning this it was something i did alone.
"Issac? Are you sure?" He asked.
"Of course I'm sure I've never been more sure of anything in my life, so will you?" He was quite for a moment and i was starting to think this wasn't such a good idea, Joe turned away and opened the top draw next to him pulling something out then looking back at me he opened a small box revealing a beautiful ring.
"Does this answer you're question?" He asked, the biggest smile appeared on my face as I realised he was goingto ask me, i stood up and hugged him tight pressing my lips to his kissing him with so much passion until Jason had to ruin it.
"Oh my goodness, I'm so happy for the two of you" we pulled away smiling and put the rings on each others fingers.
Jason ran around the bed and pulled me into a huge hug.
"Congratulations Issac, I'm so happy for you" he said smiling up at me.
"Congratulations Joe" Rick said leaning over to hug Joe who hugged him back smiling.
"Thank you Rick, I couldn't be anymore happier then i am right now"
Rick then came around and hugged me congratulating me as Jason climbed onto the bed snuggling into Joes side, Joe wrapped his arms around Jason smiling down at him.
"I'm so happy for you Joe, and I'm so happy you're okay, I don't know what I would have done if i lost you, i love you so much"
"I love you to Jason" Joe said.
"He loves me more though" i said to Jason who sat up and looked at me.
"No he loves me more"
"No he loves me more" i said then we started arguing about who loved who more while Joe and Rick laughed at us.
Everything in my life is perfect right now i have two best friends and I'm going to be marrying the love of my life, the most formal, stubborn little shit I've ever met.
But I wouldn't change him any other way.
