~Second One-Shot: Ameripan~
(Details and back story: America and Japan had planned to try something new: combining their countries' traditions for Valentine's Day. After planning a few things that they would do that day that involved their traditions, they ended up spending the day just savoring each other and forgetting about the plans. At the end of dinner...Japan does something unexpected. I will be using their country names rather than their human names until around the end. Also, Japan's speech will seem normal instead of how he sounds in the anime, due to the fact that one: I will have a hard time writing it if I tried to do it the other way, and two: It seems aggravating to have to read it like that, this is not to offend Japanese speakers.)
"Well, even though you aren't a woman, are you still able to give me chocolates, dude?" America said with a laugh as he pulled Japan into his lap.
The two were currently sitting in America's living room, talking about how they were going to spend Valentine's Day together.
Japan's face heated up slightly, still not used to the sensual touches or intimate closeness. He leaned against America once he finally convinced himself that it was alright, that they were dating. "I guess it would be fine...we did decide that we were going to combine both traditions, so I can change that a bit." Japan smiled lightly as he spoke.
"Woohoo!" America yelled, but not too loudly, he didn't want to bust Japan's eardrums. "Alright! Well, I also bought you a few things and I have a table reserved at this totally baller restaurant." His smile was a lot more noticeable that Japan's. He kissed the back of Japan's neck the snuggled his face into it. "This is gonna be fun!"
The way that America spoke an the childish way he acted made Japan happier than ever. The two were a lot different than each other, but, you know, opposites attract! The small blush on Japan's face darkened slightly at the touch, but he didn't feel bothered or uncomfortable.
The two sat in that position, in silence for a few moments before Japan crawled out of America's lap and stood in front of him, holding out his hand. "Would you like to show me what you bought me? I actually...." he paused for a second as America took his hand, "bought you a few things as well."
Excitement filled America even more and he squeezed Japan's smaller hand and lead him into the bedroom. Once they walked inside, he let go of the darker haired man's hand and ran over to the closet to pull out a few bags. "Here you go!" He said cheerfully, handing the shorter male the bags.
"Th-thank you very much America-kun," Japan said with an uncommonly cheerful voice as he took the bags from America. A wave of excitement ran through him as he opened up the first bag. Inside of it were two new kimonos and a heart shaped box of chocolates. He smiled happily as he pulled out the kimonos to look at them. One was blue and green colored and the second one was red and orange.
America watched him with wide and excited eyes as he began to open up the second bag. Inside of it were a few cosplay outfits. They were outfits of his favorite vocaloid characters. "These are great, America-kun. How can I repay you?" He looked up at his boyfriend happily, his grey eyes bright.
"Well..." America said, walking behind Japan and wrapping his arms around his waist. "You can spend this amazing Valentine's Day with me.~" His voice was more seductive than usual and it made Japan's entire face go bright red.
"O-okay, that sounds fun and easy...Oh! I almost forgot about your present!" He yelled, but it sounded more like a whisper. The black haired man moved out of America's arms and ran into another room, where he had put the present that he had bought for him. He didn't want to put it in his room, you know, because he would have peeked obviously.
