"Come on, Gabe!" Sam pulls Gabriel through the people on the sidewalk. It's been two months since their movie date. Things are going great.
"In case you forgot, I can't see." Gabriel huffs. "Or did it escape your mind that you put a blindfold on me?" Sam can sense the eye roll. He sees the odd looks people give him. A man holding a blindfolded man's hand, it can cause some judgmental looks.
Sam makes a turn then pulls Gabriel to a stop. "Okay." He repositions Gabe so he is directly in front of him. "Surprise!" Sam pulls of Gabriel's blindfold off. Gabriel blinks, letting his eyes adjust to the sunlight.
"What is it?" He looks at the slightly rundown building before him. A red sign that reads SOLD sits in the window.
"It's yours." Sam beams. "I talked to the owner, the price was a bit above your price range. But he willingly sold."
"How much above my price range." Gabriel asks.
"Don't worry about it, I have it covered." Sam waves him off. "Let's check out your new place." Sam jingles a set of keys.
Gabriel goes to reach for them, but Sam holds them above his head.
"Hey, no fair." Gabriel pouts. Sam smiles and kisses Gabriel softly. He presses the keys into Gabe's hand. Gabriel pulls away and skips to the door. Sam is about to follow, but he pauses. His eyes follow a woman. She has nicely tanned skin and black hair and brown eyes. She eyes him up and down as she passes. Something about her seems off to Sam.
"Sam, you coming?" Gabriel calls, his smile bright, covering his entire face.
"Yeah," Sam follows Gabriel into the soon to be shop.
"It sure needs some renovations." Gabriel peers around. He moves through the building. "I don't know how I'm going to afford it." He sighs.
"I will help you, we will make this place beautiful. Your dream is coming true." Sam wraps his arms around Gabriel from behind.
"I can't express to you how much this means to me." Gabriel sniffs. "I mean we've only been dating for three months and you are doing something like this." He turns and looks up at Sam. His eyes are brimming with tears.
"It's what someone does for the person they love." Sam murmurs.
"You, you love me?" Gabriel tilts his head.
"How could I not?" Sam blushes. He can't believe he said that. He was afraid to say it, thought Gabriel May not be ready for that.
"How convenient," Gabriel grins. "Cause I happen to love you too."
Sam grabs Gabriel's face and brushes his lips against his. Gabriel smirks and pulls Sam's face down to kiss him deeply.
They stand there kissing for a good ten minutes. Gabriel pulls away an rests his head on Sam's chest.
"So, um, Cas is having a family dinner at his place," Gabriel clears his throat. "I was wondering if you wanted to come, and meet my family."
"Sure, I think he invited Dean already." Sam smiles. "Are you sure you want me to meet them?"
"Absolutely, it's about time everyone met my bodacious moose of a man." Gabriel winks at Sam.
