"I think dessert is done, I'll be back." Cas stands abruptly and leaves the room.
He returns moments later carrying a steaming pie and a tub of ice cream.
"I remember you telling me you like pie," Cas says to Dean as he sits.
"Sure do," Dean looks at the pie hungrily.
"I like pie too." Anna leans closer to Dean. Cas scowls and cuts the pie. Everyone gets a piece.
"Your brother seems a bit tense." Sam murmurs to Gabriel.
"Yeah, he's getting jealous." Gabriel responds quietly.
Finally Cas seems to snap. He stands.
"Dean, can I speak to you privately?"
"Uh, sure." Dean stands and follows Cas out.
"Too bad Michael couldn't make it." Anna sighs, trying to bring a conversation up.
"Too bad he can't die in a hole," lucifer grumbles.
"Lucifer!" Gabriel glares at his brother.
"What?" Lucifer rolls his eyes. "Not like the piece of shit does us any good."
"That's enough, Lucifer." Gabriel stands, glaring at his brother. He is so tired of this feud between these two.
"No," Lucifer stands. "It isn't." He steps close to Gabriel.
"Lucifer, you're my brother, and I love you, but you are a great big bag of dicks."
"What did you just say to me?" Lucifer looks affronted.
"This needs to stop, you are hurting all of us." Gabriel stands his ground, though he's shorter than his brother.
"Are you taking Michael's side?" Lucifer growls.
"No, and I'm not taking yours either. I'm on my side, our family's side. This whole thing is petty and it's only making us upset to see it." Gabriel speaks to his brother. "Whatever your beef is, get over it, stop throwing this little tantrum and grow the hell up." Lucifer growls at Gabriel's words.
"Guys, let's not do this." Sam stands between him.
"Stay out of this," lucifer pushes him against the wall, out of the way.
"Don't touch my boyfriend like that!" Gabriel steps forward.
The next moment, Lucifer brings his fist back and slams it across Gabriel's face. Gabriel drops and the room goes silent.
"Gabe, I'm so sorry." Lucifer looks shocked at his own actions. He actually looks hurt for punching his brother. Sam moves to Gabriel's side.
"Lucifer, i think you should leave." Chuck says sternly. Lucifer nods and stomps out.
Anna goes to the kitchen and comes back with a bag of frozen peas. Gabriel takes it from her and puts it on his face.
"Are you okay?" She asks.
"Yeah, he hits like a pansy." Gabriel tries to lighten the mood.
"I think we should all call it a night." Chuck says aloud.
"Yeah, sounds like a plan." Gabriel nods.
"You aren't going anywhere right now," Sam shakes his head. "Not when you just got decked in the face."
"I'm fine, really," Gabriel rolls his eyes. The look on Sam's face reveals that he will not change his mind.
"Well, we're gonna go," Chuck murmurs. He and Anna leave after Sam moves Gabriel to the living room.
Sam checks Gabriel's face.
"It shouldn't be too bad, just slight bruising on your cheek." He nods.
"Can we leave now, doctor?" Gabriel says sarcastically. "Mm, sounds kinda sexy, you being a doctor." Gabriel waggles his eyebrows.
"Yeah, you're definitely okay." Sam rolls his eyes.
"I'm gonna say bye to Cas," Gabriel stands.
"I'll be out in the car." Sam kisses his cheek and stands.
Gabriel checks the rooms for Cas. When he hears Cas' voice from his bedroom Gabriel goes that way. He opens the door, ready to speak to his brother. He stops short and stares in horror at the scene before him.
Cas has no shirt on and his pants are pooled at his ankles. A pair of legs are wrapped around his waist, the legs belonging to Dean, who's pants are off an thrown God knows where. Cas repeatedly thrusts into Dean. Both are grunting and moaning.
Gabriel shuts the door and walks away. The image in now burned in his brain.
He's never going to look at his brother the same way again.
Gabriel rushes out to the car.
"Everything okay?" Sam asks, seeing Gabriel's obvious distress.
"Just peachy," Gabriel grimaces. He starts the car, wanting to get as far as he can.
"Is something wrong?" Sam looks over him.
"I just saw something I can never unsee." Gabriel murmurs and drives.
"Oh," Sam pauses. "Oh! Oh god, that's terrible." He seems to understand now.
Gabriel just stares forward. He just keeps driving.
He approaches a crossroads which is on the way home.
"GABE, LOOK OUT!" Sam shouts. Gabriel swerves crazily, before righting the car.
"What was it? Did I hit something?" Gabriel checks the rearview mirror.
"You didn't see her?" Sam looks at him, dumbfounded.
"See who?" Gabriel gives Sam an odd look.
"A woman, she was standing in the middle of the road. How did you not see her?" Sam asks, he looks back.
"No one was there Sam." Gabriel says calmly.
"Yes, she was wearing a black dress, and her eyes, they were red." Sam tries to explain.
"Sam, no one was in the road." Gabriel repeats.
"But I saw her!" Sam stares at Gabriel, wide-eyed.
"I think you are just tired." Gabriel says, this incident slightly concerning him.
"Maybe," Sam frowns, he doesn't seem very convinced. He seems so sure that he saw the woman.
"How bout you stay at my place tonight, so you can get a good sleep in my very comfortable bed. If sleeping is what we decide to do." Gabriel says in a suggestive tone.
Sam just smiles and shakes his head.
