Tracy Island.
The Day After...
(Alan's POV)
After everything that had happened yesterday we were finally able to relax and with the news that dad was being released from prison for what he had happened six years ago the feeling that everything was returning to the way it was before was very obvious to us all, Lady Penelope had told us yesterday but dad wouldn't be able to come here to us for another month due to some legal stuff that needed to be done but that was fine. The feelings I had back then still remain to this day but I am willing to make the effort to fix things as long as dad doesn't do something as stupid as that ever again.

That wasn't the only news that Lady Penelope had for us though, she had found out something to do with the Hood and even though it wasn't much it was still a scary thing to know. The Hood it seemed was planning something big but she couldn't give us details, what she could give us was what was found on the GDF Flyer that the Hood and his henchmen had apparently abandoned at a refinery in China, it wasn't much but what was found had something to do with some other projects about three is what she had said to us, but again this was all the information she had so there was little we could do.

I guess you could say we weren't really at peace at the moment but we were, there were no current rescues to attend to nor were there any other events the Tracy's had to attend so we were effectively at peace at the moment, then again peace was always a falsehood when it came to International Rescue,

RED ALERT! RED ALERT! RED ALERT! RED ALERT!
The command and control computer announced as the klaxon sounded through out the Villas of the island, Gordon and I who were lounging by the pool got up and made our way into the main Villa and headed in the direction of Command and Control, and not before long we arrived along with the others,
"what's the situation?" Scott asks John
"The Anderbad Express has lost power on the bridge before the Anderbad Tunnel" John explains
"lost power?" Virgil questions
"there's a serve thunderstorm in the area and it has knocked out a substation but the main issue is that the monorail now sits on a bridge that leads to a deadly drop" John explains
"where's the substation?" I ask
"just before the bridge" John answers " from the information that I have, the substation exploded when it was hit by lightning" John explains
"the bridge is weakened" Gordon says
"yes, and the train has 150 people on board and ready to transfer to an Anderbad shuttle bus at the station" John explains
"that will be 150 dead people if we don't hurry" Scott says as we head towards our elevators
"I've sent all the information to your birds" John says
"Thunderbirds Are Go!" Scott says as we press the buttons  and our elevators take us to our destinations, I may have forgot to say that I was ready for active duty again, well semi active duty, I still had to take it easy but I was allowed back into the field as long as I went to Scott or Virgil if anything happened to me.

Peace is a falsehood when it comes to International Rescue and this proves it but its proven even more when the Hood is involved and we currently don't know what his endgame is and that frightens me more than any rescue could, the knowledge of knowing he was up to something but at the same time not knowing what his plan was, was the thing that was eating at me, his plans had hurt me twice now and I'd be damned if it happened a third time but time would only tell when the Hood would make his next move, but for now I had a rescue to focus on.
