shopping and scheming

Niall was currently in the bathroom, standing in front of the mirror with only a pair of briefs on. He pouted, rubbing his stomach over his nearly noticeable baby bump now. Liam knocked on the door and the blonde told him he could open it. Liam did so and raised an eyebrow once he saw the boy.

"What's wrong, babe?" He asked.

"When Dani said I would start showing any day now, I didn't know she mean literally one morning I'd wake up and look much rounder than I did the day before." Niall replied with another pout.

Liam chuckled. "You've been wearing my shirts for the last two weeks. You haven't really seen your stomach."

"I know, but still. I don't think I can wear the shirt I was thinking about wearing for the wedding."

"We can go buy you something else today. I'm think a nice long sweater, that way you don't really show and you'll look very nice."

Niall nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. We should go today when we hang out with Louis." He suggested.

"Speaking of Lou, he texted me last night saying he was gonna sleep in so we have a few hours until we meet him in town." Niall nodded again and walked over to Liam, wrapping his arms around his torso.

"Carry me back to the bed, please?"

Liam smiled and swept Niall off his feet, carrying him over to the bed. "Do you want one of my shirts?" He asked. Niall nodded and the brunette walked over to his bag and pulled out a shirt, walking back to Niall and slipping it on the smaller boy. Then he climbed in to bed next to his boyfriend.

"So tomorrow's the wedding. I'll get to meet more of your family then?" Niall asked.

Liam nodded. "Yeah, but trust me, they're better than my immediate family."

"As long as that girl Sophia stays away from you." The blonde muttered. Liam chuckled and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend.

"I'll make sure to stay away from her." He kissed the blonde's cheek.

"Good."

It wasn't until nearly three in the afternoon did Niall and Liam meet up with Louis. They met at the cafe they ate at the day before. "How long did you sleep in for?" Liam asked Louis as they walked up to him.

"Okay, let me start off by saying I was actually awake at eleven. I somehow got volunteered to help set up the reception area. So I've spend the last three hours there. Every time I tried to leave, Aunt Helen dragged me back inside. Also that Sophia girl. She kept asking about you. But I just ignored her the whole time." Louis explained.

Liam sighed and Niall frowned. "God, she sounds so desperate." Niall muttered, causing Louis to laugh.

"Got that right. Anyway I heard we need to go shopping? For my God babies?" He asked.

"Actually for Niall." Liam replied.

Niall smiled. "But we can most certainly shop for the babies too." The blonde added. Liam smiled as well.

"True, we can." He said.

"Great!" Louis cheered. "This town has the cutest little shops! We'll find super adorable things here."

Niall grinned, excited to go shopping more now. "Okay, let's go then!" The blonde chirped, linking arms with Louis and walking down the sidewalk now. Liam smiled at the sight. It made him happy to know the love of his life got along so well with his best friend.
