"This is pure myth, why are you telling me this?" I asked the 16 year old in front of me. He laughed and put the book on my lap.

"It makes sense, trust me. Elena have I ever lied to you?" Derek asked making me shake my head no.

"Ok, then read the book and tell me what you think." He said has I took the book.

"It think you're crazy and I don't need a book to tell me that." I said making him laugh even harder.

"Trust me, you may learn something." I opened the book and was met with a picture of a girl.

"That funny, she looks like me." I said point to the picture. She had bright red hair, it was probably cause of the light behind her and her eyes were a bright green. She was beautiful.

"You do, a lot actually. Elena promise me you'll read the book." He said putting his pinky out. I pinky promised and smiled at him.

"I promise." And that night I learned about the myths that turned out to be real 6 years later.

"Ok, what did you do?" I asked Derek has Issac walked past me in a rush.

"Try to reason with your mate." Cora said and then slammed the door right behind him. Wait! Cora is up.

"I'm not an alpha anymore. To save Cora I had to give that us and now Issac is blaming me for everything that's going on." He said getting up and walking to his desk.

"Cora agrees with him." He said in defeat.

"Well aren't you also a creepy hybrid alpha too?" I asked. He looked up at me and sighed while nodding his head.

"Yes, but I would have to be in both modes at the same time and I'm not putting you at risk for anything." He said walking over to me and grabbing my hands.

"Well you're going to have to tonight. It's the blood moon and it's also the night we get my family back."

"What do you mean Mr. Argent is missing?" I yelled into my phone has Stiles drove to Dereks Loft.

"Ok, he's going to be the third parent. We'll find him Allison, I promise." I put my phone down and looked over at Stiles.

"Step on it."

Derek's pov

"I don't think this is going to work." I said has everyone gather around the table.

"Well Kail is missing as of right now. Maybe that's a sign, a good one." Stiles said making Elena roll her eyes.

"Look tonight, Derek you need to be as far away has you can be. It's going to be bad especially for you." Peter said knowing what could and most likely would happen tonight.

"Do you think that's a good idea?" Elena said from behind us.

"I personally don't, who's the strongest out of all of us? Derek is." She said trying to make a point.
